Professor Alice Eldridge’s work exemplifies the Sussex spirit of transdisciplinarity. As Co-Director of the Sussex Digital Humanities Lab, her focus on ecoacoustics weaves together diverse ways
of knowing to address complex contemporary challenges such as nature recovery, connection and eco-social justice. By collaborating with ecologists, engineers, geographers, designers, anthropologists, musicians, mediators and indigenous communities, Alice’s work aims to advance the art, science and technology of listening.
