This was one of my favourite scenes from the movie as a young child. Because of this scene I have a big desire to wear a big white gown and run through trees while carrying the skirt and having my hair dancing with the wind.
I can’t believe it’s taken me years to realize the Greek mythology symbolization between the queen’s peacock dress and Snow White’s swan dress. The swan represents the bird of Apollo, Greek god of light, singing, archery and healing while the peacock represents the bird of Hera, goddess of marriage, the heavens, queen of Mount Olympus, and fertility. In one of the myths, Apollo ventured far and wide to what would be known as the Oracle of Delphi and kill the gigantic python that was sent by Hera when Leto, mother of Artemis and Apollo, was pregnant. Years later, Apollo fights the python, using his archery skills and kills it. My theory is that costumes are a metaphor: Snow White being Apollo, Clementianna is somewhat Hera and the beast is the python.
She did run through the forest and then train in it. So it's probably not in the best shape. Plus, considering the costumes in this movie I don't think they would have reused a dress for the big musical finale. Plus, blue is a bright and hopeful color. So there might be some symbolism as well.
@@Xzagobag, my only concern is that they don’t explain where the wings on the dress went or how they got them off, however. But my theory is that may be the metaphor of Snow White being in the woods before she’s in her rogue outfit.

I wonder why she didn't wear that dress at the end? @Xzagobag.
