What is dye-na-flo? And what do I do if don't have it?

Can I dye it by mixing it with loads of water and putting the fabric inside the water?

Adding lots of water greatly decreases the intensity of color. If that is desired then yes, but it does not need to soak in it, just dip. For really big stuff needing lots of liquid I recommend using a dye instead. You can just use more dye-na-flow but at a large scale, dye becomes more cost effective.

So that’s only with fabric paint right

Yep! It is important to use a dye-na-flow fabric paint tho, it is water thin. Thick fabric paint will not work.

Where did you purchase the paint? Also, is it a requirement to iron the fabric, I plan to only use it for display.

If it is not going through the laundry then no need to heat set. I got my paints at Preston Arts Center. Most art supply stores have it available onsite:)

Haha, 48 to 72 hours. That is what it feels like to someone with a bit of ocd.
