Yamaha Clavinova Digital Piano will not turn on fix. (Model CLP-150)

This Yamaha piano has intermittent power the issue was a bad solder joint on the power supply board. EG. where the wires come from the main transformer.

Hi, sone of the keys weren't working. I cleaned the contacts for the keys, and re-assembled. All worked for half a day, then all the keys stopped making sound. The rest of the piano (the function keys and beats and so on, works well.

good tips and repair follow through my intermittent power problem can be fixed with a thump over the right speaker ..power supply area... so im hopeful your advice will help cheers

I have power problem with Yamaha P35, few days ago I plug the headphone in as usual but this time the power light flashing on and off weirdly, after 5 sec, all power gone and my keyboard stopped working. I hope you can give me advise how to fix it T_T. Thank you for tutorial video, plus the scene you and your child playing with the piano make me laugh hahaha, you guys are so cute adorable people!

@@papajohnsuk5965 hi mate, I dissemble the keyboard then try to brush dust around the mic connector gate, and some how everything back to work normally, like a magic 😊

I have a CSP-170 and it doesn't turn on without unplugging and plugging it back in, not only that but now it doesn't play piano sounds anymore only a very distorted bad sound from the speakers. Where should I start looking?
