kind of reminds me of Dutch "poffertjes" (mini pancakes that are made in a pan that looks a lot like a takoyaki pan), only we don't put tako in ours, we put powdered sugar and a little bit of butter on ours
@@overwavezz yeah, just without the filling, ours are just plain pancake batter, and then you add butter and powdered sugar or syrup on top after baking them (though powdered sugar is more traditional than syrup). if you are ever somewhere where they sell Dutch food and they have them, I would reccomend you try them, they might not be a 5 star cullinary masterpiece, but they sure are a nice sweet treat every once in a while.
