I am sooo shocked at the fact that one piece was the one that broke the live action curse, cause just like the dude said it's fkn BIG AND HARD! and most of the characters are GOOFY LOOKING, yet they managed to make a better live action than the aot live action that only had one season, when they made the live action of aot it only had 1 season so you'd think it'll be easy but nope! Completely ruined that aswell, but somehow the hardest one to be adapted somehow was the one to actually pull through and also pull millions of new fans! I was already praising oda for his good works, then oda was also the one to make the best adaptation, oda truly is a goat god

For people that didnt watch the anime or didnt read the manga, Live Action Luffy keeps repeating how he is a "good" pirate while in the anime/ manga Luffy doesnt care if someone thinks that pirates are bad, in fact, he constanly says that people should decide by themselves if he is good or not, so in the original Luffy cares even less about other people's opinion

Yeah, they did everything so good I was very pleasantly surprised and the music score was soooo amazing it really added to the atmosphere. Even the ending music theme at the end of episode 8 was the opening theme of the very 1st season of the anime. Like the, dedication, the passion and the attention of detail is insane.

I’m glad people finally get to see why anime & manga fans love & recommended one piece so much. EDIT: I said what I said because I understand that op is to long for some and that their are others who don’t watch anime. my comment again is simply that even those people get to see why the people who actually watch it and read it enjoy it so much.

Man I dont know how far the live action will go, i really have doubts about it covering every arc, but i hope we get to see the "thinking gives me a fever" bit
I have to say, this actor takes his role very seriously, as in he acts as unserious as Luffy is supposed to be. There are even other somewhat subtle things that he has managed to capture. For example, when he says “Gum Gum”, there’s a hint of an accent to it that makes it sound like there’s a double O sound at the end, which makes sense because the original Japanese uses the pronunciation of “Gomu Gomu”. When Luffy uses his iconic Gum Gum Pistol attack, he ends by catching and holding his bicep, which is preserved in the live action. As of the first episode in the series, Luffy has had his Devil Fruit for about over a decade, and as a result, not only does he have good control and aim with his attacks but his awareness of his own weaknesses and limitations is clear, and those qualities are very strongly reflected in this remake.
My only regret so far has to do with the realness. You know how sometimes it’s the relatability and/or the humanity that makes it feel more real? I find that a number of these things have suddenly gone missing from the remake. For example, many people, especially towards the beginning of the series as a whole, have a proper reaction when they see Luffy’s powers for the first time (such as Nami), but there were times where people barely even commented on what they saw, let alone have a visible reaction. Also, I feel like Zoro had his true character slightly changed, but definitely not to the point where the actor would have done a bad job. Zoro is definitely supposed to come across as being all seriousness at all times, but one thing that made him so much fun was that, any time he was in a situation where an average person would drop their seriousness, he often would do so, and there were even times where the difference would be immense. In other words, despite having such an icy atmosphere, he never looked weird when he had a good laugh or pulled a random prank. I can’t say anything absolute since I haven’t managed to watch past the part with Buggy, but so far, Zoro has demonstrated all the same seriousness, but not quite enough of the quirkiness. It kind of leaves something to be desired, you know? But still, an overall splendid performance
