I felt this in my SOUL, girl. I stayed with a mama’s boy for 6 1/2 years. From age 16 to age 22. So much time wasted. After high school ended, I realized he would never changed, but I still stayed so long afterwards. SO glad that isn’t my problem anymore.

I felt this in my SOUL, girl. I stayed with a mama’s boy for 6 1/2 years. From age 16 to age 22. So much time wasted. After high school ended, I realized he would never changed, but I still stayed so long afterwards. SO glad that isn’t my problem anymore.

I understand that, some guy feel more secure being around their mum then their girl for some reason. But think about the future of the woman you married and the kids you had with her. If you know you are a mama's boy, stick with your mum, but don't destroy another woman's life. What called my attention the most was the fact that these men want women to be housewives, not considering if they want to (which did not seem like)... When will men (and women) understand that if kids have both parents both need to help in the house? One mamma filtered the girls by asking if they can clean and cook, as if this was a requirement for a woman to marry her son. What about if HE can clean and cook? Society needs to evolve.
This dude isn't ready, that's what it boils down to. She (Sophia) needs to move on. Her mistake for not seeing his immaturity and his for not being true to himself in the beginning. Either way, his mom needs to be pushing him out the nest, or ge will never be ready.
Oh god my ex was one of the weirdest mommas boys ever, he would always put his mom first before anything, he would even take her out on dates n before they would leave, she would stick her butt out so he could slap it, one time I was waiting for him to sleep next to me when he came home from work, he literally just went to his moms room n laid next to her n spooned. I feel that too, the mum seemed nice and all, like when she came in and have her 'daughter in law' a hug. However the first mum was more nasty loud and obnoxious, but at least her and her son were honest. I feel like the secound mama's boy and his momma were just better at sugar coating things, so the put girlfriend was confused and still had hope(false hope) that things would change.
