I feel like you Diane about the snow. I miss seeing it. I'm from Kentucky where we had snow and cold but have lived in southwest Georgia for 28 yrs. We don't usually get snow here or frigid cold. It has snowed 2 times in the 28 years we've been here and everybody ran out and took pictures of it for their Christmas cards that year before it melted which it did within a few hours 😅. Schools close down and people don't know how to drive in it too. We got down to 20 last night which is really cold for here. It's going to be back in the 70s next week. Our spring usually begins in February. Temu has been doing the same with my orders too. The last one was in 4 sections and took forever to get here and this next one is the same. And I'm getting white Temu bags inside white Temu bags. It's so odd!

Snow's easy to drive in...icy roads are another issue. I grew up in N. Idaho where 3ft of snow in winter could happen. But Idaho has snow plows and they're on top of clearing the roads. -2° here in N.Texas yesterday early a.m.,...only high of 22. I do not like cold weather...fav seasons are spring and summer and early autumn.

I just love thrift store hauls. Look at how cute you are in your shirt and jeans! I need to get to our local ones, have not been in years! It is too cold here for me to go to far! I like being home in this weather. Our scanner advised us to get gas in the cars ASAP, because some stations ran out already, and the gas comes from up north in the state, and tankers are not able to get thru, due to ice on the roads, some truckers showed jack knifed trucks, and even one of the trucks used to scrape ice and snow from the roads, was off in the ditch!
I was told by my doctor that I am pre-diabetic so I had to change my diet. I am 5’9” and was weighing between 185-190lbs. I had always been thin most of my life until age 50(I am 64 now). I cut out carbs and sugar and within a few weeks, I was down to 175lbs. Atkins makes some yummy ranch flavored chips, some yummy candy bars, etc. I didn’t find it hard to change my diet. And I do not get hardly any exercise at all! I also make sure I drink more water based beverages(always had a problem trying to drink enough water). This is my first time on your channel. You seem like a very sweet lady.

But if you slowly adjust and use something instead like Stevia(which is probably the best) or Agave(although some believe that isn't even good for you) it would help. Honey supposedly is still bad because it is high in it's sugar content. Even fruits have a sugar content. You should stay under a certain amount. I try to stay away from most chemical/artificial sweeteners like Aspartame but I DO use some things that have Sucralose in them. It is believed that that can even cause more problems for people who are "pre-diabetic".

Candy n carbs will cause weight gain especially if you’re eating only one meal a day. Carbs will make you gain. I found out the hard way. I just lost 35 lbs cutting out carbs n sugar .

Hi Diane from middle England. I find I have to have something sweet after a meal. I just have 2 pieces and put them away in a cupboard. My old mum always used to say "out of sight out of mind." We have not had any snow but frost and it is 1 degree Celsius outside , and I have already done my weekly shop by 8:30 am and put away. I like to get to shops for when they open at 7:30am. I have lost almost 28lbs it gets so hard to lose weight as you get older. In my 30s I lost a third of my body weight with diet and exercise, but now in my 70s after years of lifting patients etc my body has taken a hike on me so I do the exercises now 😂 . I know now that I'm older it is so hard to lose weight. When I lost my son I lost a lot of weight I got down to a size 6. I could wear some 4. But now I have put the weight back on I've gained about 30 lb I feel terrible I know I don't look fat but I feel fat if you know what I mean lol
@dianabennett9818 I really know Diane. I was desperate to get my weight back to what it was, but now, in my 70s I just eat what I fancy when I fancy. I don't have to please anyone. My daughter-in-law is slimming hard at Slimming World and secretly has my Type 2 diabetic on the same diet. They are looking well. Diane, you have so many responsibilities and you work so hard raising your grandchildren at a time when you should just be enjoying them. Snow is fun when you have it once in awhile not regularly. I used to live in the San Bernardino mountains where my family lives and would get 3 or 4 feet often! Last year they got 11 feet total!! I'm glad I moved off the mountain several years ago and it's not nearly that cold. Had some flurries that stuck for a couple of hours last year. Stay warm.❤

Hi Diane, Great haul, Temu have such beautiful jewelry, with great prices. You can't help but order all kinds of cute stuff from them. Both sweatshirts looked good, but I did prefer the red one. You just looked so good in red, you really do. The shoes were adorable. I wish I could order shoes from them. I have such a wide foot that everything from them is just too tight. All I can get from them would be slippers or flip-flops. Stop worrying about your hair. Your hair looks just fine, I promise you. We are not in the teens here but in the 20s which is cold enough. We are not used to freezing weather here, for sure, in Louisiana. So glad I don't have to get out in it. I like the cold too, but not freezing weather. We have to keep our water dripping tonight again, like we did last night, so the pipes don't freeze up. Our mailman didn't even come today. I guess it was too cold for him/her too.LOL, Hope all the girls are doing well. You crack me up, I don't know why I'm gaining weight, I eat candy all the time. Haha, that could be it. You are better off eating a good healthy meal and then just a little piece of candy. You are eating so much candy, I'm sure because you have to be hungry. You don't stop. You need to keep your health up. You might be craving sweets because of stopping your smoking too. That will cause sugar cravings. Well have a nice warm night. Candy n carbs will cause weight gain especially if you’re eating only one meal a day. Carbs will make you gain. I found out the hard way. I just lost 35 lbs cutting out carbs n sugar .

I just found your red shoes for $9.98 .Did you know if click on the item you want then look up on the right there's a picture of a camera if you click on that it will scan all prices for that item. That way you get the best price.

Hi Diane from middle England. I find I have to have something sweet after a meal. I just have 2 pieces and put them away in a cupboard. My old mum always used to say "out of sight out of mind." We have not had any snow but frost and it is 1 degree Celsius outside , and I have already done my weekly shop by 8:30 am and put away. I like to get to shops for when they open at 7:30am. I have lost almost 28lbs it gets so hard to lose weight as you get older. In my 30s I lost a third of my body weight with diet and exercise, but now in my 70s after years of lifting patients etc my body has taken a hike on me so I do the exercises now 😂 . I know now that I'm older it is so hard to lose weight. When I lost my son I lost a lot of weight I got down to a size 6. I could wear some 4. But now I have put the weight back on I've gained about 30 lb I feel terrible I know I don't look fat but I feel fat if you know what I mean lol
@dianabennett9818 I really know Diane. I was desperate to get my weight back to what it was, but now, in my 70s I just eat what I fancy when I fancy. I don't have to please anyone. My daughter-in-law is slimming hard at Slimming World and secretly has my Type 2 diabetic on the same diet. They are looking well. Diane, you have so many responsibilities and you work so hard raising your grandchildren at a time when you should just be enjoying them. Don't beat yourself up, take a step back and stay healthy and the rest will start to happen. God bless ❤️ 💗👵🏴🌹🌹🌹

Hi Diane. Love all the red jewelry and the red sweatshirt with was so cute on you. It didn't make you look fat! I didn't know Texas got that cold. Snow is fun when you have it once in awhile not regularly. I used to live in the San Bernardino mountains where my family lives and would get 3 or 4 feet often! Last year they got 11 feet total!! I'm glad I moved off the mountain several years ago and it's not nearly that cold. Had some flurries that stuck for a couple of hours last year. Stay warm.❤

Hi Diane, Great haul, Temu have such beautiful jewelry, with great prices. You can't help but order all kinds of cute stuff from them. Both sweatshirts looked good, but I did prefer the red one. You just looked so good in red, you really do. The shoes were adorable. I wish I could order shoes from them. I have such a wide foot that everything from them is just too tight. All I can get from them would be slippers or flip-flops. Stop worrying about your hair. Your hair looks just fine, I promise you. We are not in the teens here but in the 20s which is cold enough. We are not used to freezing weather here, for sure, in Louisiana. So glad I don't have to get out in it. I like the cold too, but not freezing weather. We have to keep our water dripping tonight again, like we did last night, so the pipes don't freeze up. Our mailman didn't even come today. I guess it was too cold for him/her too.LOL, Hope all the girls are doing well. You crack me up, I don't know why I'm gaining weight, I eat candy all the time. Haha, that could be it. You are better off eating a good healthy meal and then just a little piece of candy. You are eating so much candy, I'm sure because you have to be hungry. You don't stop. You need to keep your health up. You might be craving sweets because of stopping your smoking too. That will cause sugar cravings. Well have a nice warm night. Fix you some nice hot cocoa with marshmallows. I think that's what I'll have tonight.
