Fascinating archive of engines and rolling stock being cut up for scrap and factory footage of the 'new' diesel locomotives being assembled. London only had one, RM 664, but Liverpool had quite a few for some years. It was found that the unpainted aluminium weathered to an unattractive dull grey, so they were all painted in the end.
