I think that little stand has a little bar that goes across for a hand towel. I wish I was there to pilfer with you. Lol

Angela is right. There should be a couple rings and a bar to hang small guest towels. Or you could always slide a roll of paper towels over it.
That type writer book is made to stand up. The cover would flip all the way over. That way you could look at the page while you typed. That brought back memories of high school typing class!
That little gold vase might look good with pearls draped out of it. Nice video ❤

Hi. The glasses and case for five bucks. An awesome find. They remind me of the glasses John Boy wore on The Walton's. I love that show! It breaks my heart when I see treasures of yesteryear abused. Not everyone is into collecting antique treasures. I guess that's why there are people like us, Right! And thank God there are! I love the mirror and the gorgeously crazed platter. Seeing Jackson playing with his toy in the background brought me a smile. Lincoln is gorgeous too. Love how you styled your items. Excited to see your curio cabinet and how you style it over time with your thrifted treasures.

I have an antique blue larger mason jar with a zinc lid, holding empty wppden spools that were my mom's and grandma's, love them!
Great find love the slender mirror. I've not ever seen a mirror like that one.
Those spools would look cool in a little bowl in a vignette.

Well, Danielle .... What an Aladdins Cave you visited. Some great finds there. The Avon Perfume Bottle certainly had the Art Deco look about it. The Books you got were definitely Art Deco era. Top item for me was the Mirror. That would look good anywhere. The Classic, Vintage look. Lovely video to watch, yours always are, Lovely Lady .... Thank You ! ❤️👏🇬🇧

I love the mirror and platter. I have several platters displayed that look very similar and possibly the same. USA is on the back. I agree, I love the staining variations on my Ironstone. I would have loved to dig through with you! Tfs ❤
I think the hatstand is a countertop double sided hand towel holder. Seems the bar or ring that would hold the towels is what’s missing. You could totally use it for a hat and give it new life though!

Hi Danielle, you found great pieces, the perfume bottle with the perfume is a wow, is sad you gona through it away, in a way is part of history. Love the prints, the plater don't know is a original one, one day I thrifting and I saw a identical one, but was a store thing and for last the trumeau mirror a resemble of the originals ones from France, in the louis 14,15,16 and Napolen period. Recently I bought one with gold frame and same size. Dont know if is retro or vintage. Mine is new, have to change the picture. Thanks for sharing and blessings. 💗🌹

Carpenter's ruler all day long, lol. The bobbins in boxes was a doubly great find, imo. That place looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see what treasures you fill the curio with. I have one of those typewriters, but I never thought about getting one of those books 🤪 I also have one to post that isn't in the greatest of conditions, so I have been dragging my feet because I don't want to clean it up 🤣 You look like you might be feeling a little better, hope so!

The gold glass "vase" looks like champagne glass maybe ... I love B&W framed art/sketches/pics as well😁 I've got 12K glasses given to me from God mother. Ive a mirror w girl mirror hubby bought antique shop! ...my we like & have same stuffs😁😁😁

That was a carpenters ruler you were unable to open one handed. Not sure if they even use them anymore.
My husband has done carpentry for 40+ years and yes, there are certain situations when they use the folding rulers. 🙂
