Lots of good info. Nice job! The reference materials you mentioned are really good. Some I knew but a couple I didn’t. Thanks for all you do. There are so many errors, it’s hard to keep them all straight. Who knew loose change could keep me occupied for hours. Been at it for a few years now and still loving my collection.
It is so hard to tell the difference between the die deterioration and mechanical and the real doubled dies IMO. A slight doubled die looks the same as mechanical to me 😕
Thank you so much for all of this very helpful information. You answered many questions that I had. One suggestion though, turn the music way down or turn it off completely; it's very distracting and overrides your quality info.
I have a 1955 Philadelphia wheat cent that has an I printed between the B and the E so basically it’s spelled LIBIERTY. However the I is crushed in between there not evenly spaced like the other letters. How much would a cent like that be worth? No it doesn’t look like just some die chip?? Is that right term? But it truly appears to be an additional I stuck in there. Coin is circulated but in good condition. I would be willing to get it graded. Can you give me your advice on it please?
Its called a "BIE" error and is a farirly common error o 1950's wheat cents. they do carry a small premium and you can find them trading fro a few bucks up to 10 bucks or so. I wouldnt send it off for grading personally, i would just keep it in a 2x2 coin flip. Hope this helps
hello one of my friends told me about this so i looked into it. I have no experience what so ever. I have a handful of quarters in front of me and i notices that most of them have a very small letter p next to Washington. I came across one that has the letter D and i was wondering if that meant anything. i have a feeling it doesn't but just wondering. Ty!
Another great video !!!! Keep them coming!!! Please check out my coins i have found Here at instagram I believe i have some variety and error coins worth money

I know right...and who knew how much fun it can be searching! Thank you for your awesome comment.
I’ve got a 1902 Indian Head split planchette wafer thin penny. Probably fair/good. Is it worth getting it graded as an error?
Can you make a video about what to do if you believe you found a new error or variety?
Would it be worth it to send your penny collection for grading, if I'm planning to sell, some with errors, some are in like in very good condition?
Great info! So hard to determine if worth paying to have graded when still learning. Good resources to use. Thanks so much!
Very good video Dustin. This should help a lot of people in our hobby. Keep up the good work!

Are there any double die proofs and if so are they worth more
C Manyosr there are lots of doubled die proofs and value depends on many aspects like anything else in this hobby.
