    Always awesome! Man I'd love to put a slow motion camera on your clutch and throttle to see what your hands are doing during this. The clutch control must be amazing!

      I would absolutely love to see a video with a triple screen shot were you could see each hand and also the rider and obstacle. Especially on a double blip! You may have to build camera mounts, or put two cameras on a chest harness.....

    There’s another benefit to no dabbing: less risk of injuring your knee of the leg you’re dabbing on. This is particularly more important in Enduro where the speeds are quicker than on a trials bike, and thus more likely to rotate or impact the knee ligaments.

      You've obviously slipped a cap (hopefully not locked out). Too true, dude. Especially in the rocky, ankle-breaker sections! I've even dabbed in sand and my knee partially dislocated for a second or two. I'm glad this was mentioned.

A suggestion : sometimes the video shows what we should not do, sometimes maybe it is not clear : am I watching the "to do" or the forbidden technique ? why not put a cross on the vid then on wrong techniques ? ride safe and have fun

    I'm wondering what's happening after the second blip and you wheelie to keep your front tire up. Do you sort of move the clutch in and out around the catch point with minimal throttle?

    NEED SOME HELP HERE
    My question is.....
    My wife is a new rider progressing really fast. She rides a 2003 xr100.
    Shes 5 feet tall, 113 pounds, very tiny chic.
    So in 9 months shes learned to wheelie, corner like a pro,
    ride on ice all winter with studded tires, learned static balance ( like no hands standing on the pegs for ten mins plus) , riding over logs, double blip over logs 12 inch diameter, now learning a 18 inch diameter white pine log.
    What bike would you move her onto next, her goals are hard enduro type trail riding. I'm thinking crf150rb, what would you get your tiny wife?
    Her Instagram is
    Jess.rainville

    • @flagovhate
      @flagovhate 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey i replied to another one of your comments on this channel. My gf is in the same boat, she started on a crf100 and she's moved up to a KX100 now. She's not as advanced as your wife, but the crf100 was lacking in the power department were she couldn't even make it up small hill climbs. I debated greatly about what bike to get, the crf230 or ttr230 were options, but the huge factor was the weight of the bikes, they weigh more than my yz250x. So even though the kx100 is a motorcross bike, there's no other bike that has that power to weight, it's got 30 hp and only weighs 170 lbs! Stock the low end power is non-existent, but top end is insane, too much for my gf. So i have parts on order, 12oz flywheel weight, skid plate, rad guard/brace and maybe a different pipe/silencer later on.
      From what I've read the flywheel weight makes a huge difference so we'll see.

    • @flagovhate
      @flagovhate 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also i should add, my gf is the same size, 5 feet tall and 110lbs, on the KX100 she's on her tippy toes, but with softer valving it would let it sit a bit lower, stock valving is pretty harsh.
