Driver could have been a but quicker with the signal but rider definitely shouldn't have planned on attempting an overtake till they passed the junction.

It’s crazy, there’s been times where a biker can be going the speed limit and sometimes I won’t see them. Usually due to the blind spots on my car/glare from the sun. Then there’s other times when they’re hauling ass while you’re changing lanes. And they come out of nowhere.

Dude is saying there’s a lot of bad drivers out there and drivers who will run red lights after playing many many minutes of motorcycle riders who are terrible drivers reckless, careless, dangerous. They give the majority of motorcycle riders a bad name because they’re so entitled and selfish without any care concern for the other people on the road. I mean if you want to kill yourself on a motorcycle, whatever have it but I think it’s shitty that you’re gonna make somebody else live with the consequences of your terrible driving.
When my daughter was learning how to drive I had two morons Crotch rockets splitting lanes which is illegal and scared the crap out of my daughter to where she jerked and almost knocked the guy off his bike and he had the nerve to get mad at my daughter and start screaming at her. Play stupid games, when stupid prizes, and if my daughter had hit him and killed him, then I’m sure his family would’ve sued us despite the fact that, he was the one doing suicidal actions.

Yes you might have the right of way but especially for a motorcycle you will be way better of yielding your right of way

To minimise Motorcycle Deaths & Injury 49 States in America have put this law called "Lane splitting" (for those who don't understand) lane splitting means, that you are riding a motorcycle on a White line, and still continuing, therefore crash can occurred for ex: Stepping out vehicle/Vehicle ahead changing lane.
Although the U.S has 50 states, only in California where lane splitting is IN FACT legal, according to California Highways patrol motorlist & Google
May wonder why? Lane splitting can not only being a smoother flow of traffic, it keeps motorcyclist safe
