Eh, I would have to disagree with that. God could absolutely cause your heart to burst and then save your life only to increase your faith and dependence on Him
He is one lucky guy. I’m an OR nurse so I know exactly what this is. I also, coincidentally, had an aortic root aneurysm. Mine didn’t rupture though. It was found by accident and repaired 8 years later. I have a mechanical heart valve as a result. Being in good physical condition for an operation like this makes a huge difference too. But he is a very lucky guy.
As Ritchie is well aware, he should be dead and we are thankful he isn't. So many things had to go right for him to still be here. Think about it, shorter set list, it happened during the last song, he said he would have kept playing, 4 miles from one of the best heart hospitals in America. Imagine if they are playing in a smaller town where the nearest hospital is 45 minutes away, and it may not even be a Trauma Level 1 hospital. To put it into better perspective, an Aortic Dissection can happen to you while you are IN the hospital and chances of you dying are still about 75%. Those docs and nurses pulled off a Million to One shot. So thankful he's still here.
