I'm buying this drum. I just bought a beautiful Tama Star classic Performer kit and I chose the Big Black Steel snare to go with it. It's a nice snare but it's way TOO LOUD. It's easily the loudest snare I've ever heard by far. It over-powers the other drums. This Yamaha has amazing sound, I love the crack and the warmth. This will fit the kit perfectly.
