    What about renewal? I have 30 singles, it means i gotta have to pay 270 bucks next year? i still don't understand. I'm going to move my entire discography to other distribution service and make it into an Album. I just want to keep my discography out there on the net.

    • @ZachWirchak
      @ZachWirchak  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's a once a year charge. I have about 40 songs released and I pay $49 (or whatever the professional level costs) for all of them. There are add ons you can get or lower level subscriptions, but tgis new plan saves me a bucket load of money every year.

      @@ALTreble I believe the Rising Artist would be $19.99 a year for all your releases. You could have 100 songs and it'd still should only be $19.99. You want to look for "Unlimited Releases to all Digital Stores" under what each plan offers.

    Hey Question, when releasing singles how far apart from each other should I release a single? Like every for 4 month, 6 or 9 etc?

    • @ZachWirchak
      @ZachWirchak  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a great question! I think it comes down to your marketing plan for your singles. I just released 3 all within about 6-8 weeks of each other and they have been performing better than usual for my singles. I personally would say, if you've got quality tracks to release, then the more the better as long as you're not over saturating your fan base.

    • @ZachWirchak
      @ZachWirchak  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@candidoaviles220 the main reason they recommend the 3-4 weeks is so the distribution sites have a chance to review and release. So the upload and the release date should be 3-4 weeks apart.

    Hi i have a question about uploading with distributors... what if i go ahead with content id with lets say tunecore.. and then whem i upload my musicvideo to youtube after that, i get a copyright
    Claim?
    Do i upload my vid to youtube first and then register to the distributor? What is the best way to go about it?
    Also my music is serbian, distrokid doesnt have serbian language as an option.. does the language of the music an affect on whie distibutor i use? Does tunecore have serbian as an option for language?
    Any help is appreciated thanks!

    • @ZachWirchak
      @ZachWirchak  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello! Great question! It's been about 10 years since I've done what you're asking, but I'll do my best to answer from memory.
      I would suggest getting your music claimed by Tunecore, then anytime someone else uses your music, you'll get paid for it. Even if they don't have your permission, Tunecore will still collect on your behalf. But, if you do not want them to collect on videos on your own channel, you can request for them to "Whitelist" your channel. That means your channel will be cleared to use your music. I would assume they can still do this as they did for me and my band a long time ago. We get paid anytime our music is played on anyone's TH-cam channel, but we collect our own royalties from our uploads. Also, if you do upload your music to your channel and do not have it whitelisted, you will get a copyright claim, but it WILL NOT hurt your standing on TH-cam.
      I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions about it. Also, I checked and Tunecore doesn't have Serbian as a language option. But I wouldn't let that slow you down. I'd maybe pick the closest similar "market" that you're music would be played in. For example, my music is listed as English even though it's all instrumental and about 25% of my streams come from non-English speaking countries.

    • @Vlade.Jovanoski.Official
      @Vlade.Jovanoski.Official ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ZachWirchak Thanks alot for that! So if i white list my channel i will be earning 100% of my revenue for that video from googleAd sense as usual. Amd they only get 20% of the revenue that they find else where... but dont touch my youtube partner progrsm earnings right?

    • @ZachWirchak
      @ZachWirchak  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Vlade.Jovanoski.Official Correct! They won't claim anything from your channel if it's whitelisted. And like I said, they should still be able to whitelist channels. I haven't in a long time, but my bands channel is still whitelisted til this day from Tunecore.

    it goes automatically to free account right?

    instead there will be revenue cut, 20%(?)

    • @ZachWirchak
      @ZachWirchak  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you don't renew the subscription then your music will be removed from the digital stores. But I'm guessing it would automatically kick you to a free subscription like you said, so therefore your music could still be on social media platforms (don't quote me on that, but it seems like that's what it should do).
