LAY didn't participate in this years comebacks at all. Bcs there was a issue between Korea and China so he was not able to visit Korea for a couple of time. So he worked on his solo and made a comeback with Sheep. But he will never leave EXO just sayin.

I love the Eve Dance Practice so much. Xiumin's look this entire era was so on point, and yeah, Chen KILLED the blond look. Sweet Lies is my favorite off the repackage. This video isn't a good one because they got some of the vocal parts wrong (or didn't get them at all) If I find a more accurate one, I'll send it your way. I've been looking forward to this Kai reaction since your tweets, and I am NOT disappointed. You're just as entertaining to watch as the video itself. Great reactions. AND 4 VIDEOS! Yixing isn’t in this comeback huhu, in Kokobop there’s no Yixing and The Eve is during Kokobop’s era so no Yixing as well. We haven’t seen Yixing with Exo for almost a year now since China and South Korea had political issues and Yixing has his solo schedules :-)

Lay wasn’t in this year’s comeback with EXO due to the political situations between China and South Korea and since he has a very large amount of popularity in China, is Chinese and is a Youth Ambassador for his province Hunan, him promoting in South Korea wth Exo would reflect badly on him within China which is why he just continued to work on his 2nd solo comeback “Lay 02 SHEEP” in China and then filming his drama and variety program “Go Fighting”s 3rd season. He’ll hopefully start promoting from next year but that’s only if the situation improves to the point where he won’t be under scrutiny from the Chinese public for being with exo and the situation is improving since the members and Lay mentioned each other in their award speeches, exo in mma and Lay’s speech for winning Album of the Year in one of the biggest award shows in China, so we are hopeful for Ot9 reunion

Lay isn't in the Exo "The War" albulm at all which is sad 😏 because he's taking care of his schedule in China he couldn't be in the album
Aalyha Guerrero it was also due to THAAD which affected the political relations between China and South Korea, which in turn affected Lay because he was China’s ambassador for something (cant remember the exact title). We’re all expecting him to reunite with Exo soon because china and south korea have begun to resolve their issues.

Due to the 2 year ban of the Korean Wave (KPOP and KDramas) in China, Yixing was unable to participate in the Kokobop/Power comeback. And though China has lifted some of these restrictions, there are things he can and cannot do contractually because of laws between Korea and China.

You guys knew Lay wasn't part of this comeback right? (How can he be your bias and you not have any idea what is going on? ... LOL) This song was from their War album and it was the B side track to Ko Ko Bop.Lay hasn't participated in any of their recent comebacks or songs and is not participating in their most recent concert tour, etc. because he is (short answer) "busy" with activities in China right now. There have been some tensions between Korea and China overthe past couple years and because of political reasons Lay has had to stay in China. Lay has his own record company in China and is very busy with promotions and recording, as well as other solo activities, plus he is a youth ambassador to China right now, and if you follow him, you will see he has been appearing on a lot of Chinese variety shows and doing a lot of activities in China. Really if you pay attention you will see that most Kpop companies who have Chinese artists are encouraging them and allowing them to do a lot more solo work in China than they have in the past because they are using their Chinese members as a way to keep a foothold in the Chinese market because their Korean artists aren't able to freely work in China the way they have been in years past. That's one reason why we have seen Chinese Kpop Idols such as Jackson from GOT7 spending a lot of time in China lately working on variety shows, doing solo albums and starting a record label etc. and one of the reason's why we haven't seen any promotions from Super Junior-M in China in almost 4 years and why Henry from Super Junior-M pretty much travels back and forth between Korea and China on a weekly bases because he is working on numerous projects in China, and why Zhoumi from Super Junior-M, Victoria from f(x) and Fei from Miss A -- who are native Chinese -- have pretty much been working and living in China exclusively for the past 2 or 3 years. At one point native Chinese members were threatened with the fact that they could get their citizenship taken away if they worked in Korea and they might not be able to travel to see their families, so most native Chinese Idols who were living and working in Korea made a consorted effort to become "busy" with work and activities in China with the blessing of their Korean companies because they would help the company keep a presence in China. And most Chinese Idols who are not from mainland China have become their compay's links between China and Korea, because as non-native Chinese they are able to travel between the two countries and are still excepted pretty favorable in both counties. Really its in SM Entertainment's best interest to allow Lay to pretty much have free rain with whatever he wants to do when it comes to China because he is providing them with a link to China and keeping EXO's name out there, even though he is promoting as a solo artist right now. Everyone in China knows Lay is from EXO even if he doesn't promote as a member of the group. Pus it helps Lay establish himself as a Chinese artist in his home country so its a win win for everyone, so I don't foresee, at least for right now, at this moment Lay, EXO or SM Entertainment severing ties any time soon.

Do you know there is a story line behind all their music, teasers and concerts. Lay is not here due to the story, he is now captured by red force. He will be back soon. the schedule issue is just official excuse. if you are interested in the story, yoi have to watch every official videos and I recommend you to watch some decoding videos, since the story is really really really difficult to figer out.
