    I am making this and worry the back panel is too wide..... how many inches across should it be?

  • @wishywashy1153
    @wishywashy1153 หลายเดือนก่อน

    And now I'm stitching the panels together and notice in the image on your website the top has been worked to be straight across but it's not written in the pattern.... What is the pattern for that last now so I have easily sew them together......?????

      Hi! I don't have a full tutorial, just this one! but the zahora cardigan is just using the stitch shown here, making 3 rectangle panels and seaming together! The written pattern is on my blog eandpcrochet.com!

    I see that you use a 3 weight yarn … would you be able to use a 4 weight and if so would you suggest going down a size or change hook size? I love this and want to make but I have a weight 4 cotton/viscose yarn … thanks and love every thing you’ve made

    • @EvelynAndPeterCrochet
      @EvelynAndPeterCrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      you could use a 4! You might not even need to follow a smaller size, you could just adjust the hook down. Its such a drapey oversized style that it would still look great if it came out a little larger as well! You can check your gauge and then decide! :)

    Hi, I loved it! Why do you rotate the chains? Is it better to work? I’ll do it soon! I have the material now. Thanks

      If you work in the back loop or the back bump, it makes for a much better looking edge. Also it makes it easier to add a border because it creates an actual stitch to work into.

    Hopefully you will see this comment and be able to answer my question. In the pattern you say to use a 6.5 crochet hook to make the starting chain and then switch to 5.5 for the rest of the pattern and that the stitches should be not be too tight. But in your video you are using a size 5 hook and your stitches are not really that loose. So now I am unsure how tight my stitches need to be. Can you please help? Should my piece look like yours in the video?

    • @EvelynAndPeterCrochet
      @EvelynAndPeterCrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Use a 6.5 hook like it says in the pattern! I didn't for the swatch in the vid and realized the starting chain would be too tight when the cardigan is finished, so I wrote it into the pattern! You just want the chain loose enough so that it doesn't pull/pucker your work :)

      Então qual é o número certo da. agulha para este cardigan? É 6,5 para a corrente e 5,5 para o cardigan ou é tudo com a número 6,5?

    I made this and I wish I knew it ran big... I had to take it completely apart. Plus it's very boxy, not very flattering for full figure women
