A very nice and sensible bike for the mature rider. 👍

BMW makes great bikes. That's a very interesting one for sure. I dig the looks.

I love BMW’s, ( as you probably already know 😂). It looks awesome in person.

I'm waiting for my R12 Option 719 now. Sadly, I had to factory order mine as none were in the BMW Inventory with the black wire wheels. Missing a good chunk of this season-but I wasn't willing to compromise. The wire wheels finish the look of the bike perfectly.

Awww, thank you. I am getting there, one day at a time. The new knee needs lots of attention every day 😊

    Prefieres la r12 a la r12 ninet ?
Qué diferencias encuentras con la r9t y la r12 ?

Different bikes. The R12 is more of a cruiser. The R12 is VERY comfortable to me. The R9t is a sporty roadster. I like them both and almost bought the new R9T, but once I sat on the R12, I fell in love 🥰

I’m not a fan of the motor sticking out. Yet, I never saw a bike I didn’t like 😂. I’ve owned 28 motorcycles and currently own 4.

Finished a very extensive test ride.
    Pro:
    1. Engine, tons of power and especially torque. Does NOT feel like 95 HP, more like 120-125.
    2. Brakes incredibly strong, very confidence inspiring.
    3. Build quality
    4. Cruise control works beautifully, easy to engage / operate
    5. For someone around 5,9ft 175 cm this is very comfortable for long distance. Also nice low seat.
    6. 719 finish looks great.
    7. Digital display is crystal clear and very bright so amazing visibility.
    7. Tech laden
    CONS:
    1. KEYLESS allows you to switch the bike on and off but not lock/unlock the steering, meaning you still need to take out the key regardless. Absolutely retarded. Unless I have not figured it out somehow..
    2. No fuel gauge. Mind boggling
    3. Quick shifter feels BAD in the first 2 gears. Very jerky changes.
    4. Tyres grippy but could have been a little better.
    5. Rear shock is hard with very little travel, so only a little better than a triumph bobber or Indian scout bobber.

Well said, you should have made the video 😅. On the con side, not having a fuel gauge is a bummer but you actually get used to it and reset your trip every gas fill.

@@painlesstom Yes, and it’s super easy to reset the trip.

@AmenCornerRider I thought so, going to test ride one Thursday. I have 23 R1250R, so most of it will be very familiar, I'm sure.

@@painlesstom The R1250R is such a wonderful bike! I had one a while ago and loved it. I almost bought another one, but the R12 showed up at my dealership and when I sat on it, it was love at first sight 🥰

@@AmenCornerRider did you buy one? I did and lucky Wilburs has a bandaid solution. $1300. Parts on order and then 5-800 labor. As it stands if you ride on Interstate 80 mph and hit the slightest bump or where the road meets a bridge look out. This is a round town motorcycle as designed and 3.5” suspension travel front forks. The lowest travel ever for BMW. Google it
