Episode 29: Pratap Is The King

Udai’s meeting starts in the courtroom where Gadoliya’s blacksmiths come to meet Pratap. Udai tells his servant to call Pratap. Udai enquires about Shams to Chundawat, to which the latter tells him that they don’t have any information about them. But, Chundawat feels that the Shams must have gone to Delhi near his brother Shamsher Khan. Chundawat tells Udai that Shamsher is even more evil then the Shams. He reveals that it was Shamsher who killed his king Sher Shah’s grandson Firoz and crowned his uncle Adil as the king of Delhi. Listening to this, Udai feels worried and tells to Chundawat that they should stay alert from Shamsher. Hiding in a suitcase, the Shams arrive in Delhi under Shamsher’s shelter. Hearing about Pratap from Shams leaves Shamsher angry. There, Pratap enters the courtroom and meets Gadoliya’s blacksmiths. Everyone feels happy when Bajrang, the leader of the blacksmiths shows his gratitude to Pratap and thanks him for making Mewar independent. He requests Pratap to touch their fruit baskets so that they can offer it to their God. Feeling happy, Pratap tells Udai that he personally wants to go to Gadoliya and offer these baskets to their God. Chundawat gets worried regarding Pratap’s security but Udai allow Pratap to go. Later, Pratap, Shakti and Vikram get ready and leave together for village. After reaching the village, Bajrang brings a palanquin for Pratap to take him till the temple. After a while, Pratap gets overwhelmed and he gets down from palanquin and starts walking with village people. Looking at all this, Shakti feels jealous. Pratap offers the fruit baskets to God and Bajrang handovers him their ancestor sword. Everyone starts hailing him as the king. Pratap swears that he will always protect them.

Many of these brothers went in the service of Akbar, but as history proves, his love would change his jealous brothers melodramatically in times of War.
The story of Maharana Pratap is not just the story of king who was a great warrior and who lead the army of his kingdom to victory against the armies of another empire. The story of Maharana Pratap is also not the story of a Rajput prince, who got his throne as a birthright from his father and ruled their state as a king in comfort. This story is actually the journey of a boy Pratap, who much later would earn his title Maharana, through his own deeds and dedication”.

शक्तिसिंह प्रताप के हमउम्र थे, शायद तब उन्हें अभाष नहीं रहा होगा कि लोक उनके जयजय कार क्यों करते है, उन्हें त्रसना होती थी जो प्रताप के लिए है वो उनके लिए क्यों नहीं, उन्हें ज्ञात नहीं रहा होगा कि प्रताप बड़े है इसलिए आगे वे ही राजा बनेगे, यदि उन्हें उस समय कोई संभाल सकता तो शक्ति सिंह में ऐसी दुर्भावना नहीं उपजती। उनकी माँ ने उन्हें सँस्कारित नहीं किया जिसके कारण वे स्वयं को प्रताप का प्रतिद्वन्दी मानते रहे इसका आगे उन्हें कमियाजा भी भोगना पड़ा। प्रताप लोकनायक बन चुके थे उनकी कीर्ति दिन ब दिन बढ़ती जानी थी। प्रकति के ये सन्देश काश धीराबाई, साँझा बाई शक्तिसिंह समझ पाते। 🌹🌹🌹
