I made the mistake of using ASR foundations and some other pieces, and I logged in one day and my base was gone and all I had was my base items I placed, they were floating in the air and stuff. I was like NOOOOOOO. I stopped playing for like 2 weeks cause of it lol
@@BemoGuinnessThis happened like 3 weeks ago. I just now logged back in this week to start over using vanilla. Not sure if things have been fixed since then.
Another more interesting and fun option is visual storage. You get to keep the functionality of dedis and gain alot of decorative options. Maybe for a future build

Mini vaults just take up a ton less space though
I don't recommend any of the steam punk stuff except the steps
