@@hiswayservicesblog9288 this is where I don't agree because Palpatine was right when he said Anakin's anger killed her, Anakin didn't kill her but she died because she didn't have the will to live anymore, Palpatine would've accepted Padmé to be with him and Vader.

You might be right. And that's why Luke Skywalker is a hero, no matter what the new trilogy might portray. Grew up in the 80s, admire Luke Skywalker. The recent trilogy doesn't exist for me. Luke Skywalker fulfilled Anakin's destiny. Balance was restored.
I think you got it backwards. He lost everything he loved because he made critical mistakes, namely failing to think through his fear, failing to set aside his obsessive need to protect, and forgetting that you can't save someone by sacrificing what they'd die for.
@@Metalpazallteway Generalizations like that one are generally stupid, and you are just flat wrong in this case. Anakin very definitely and willingly chose to serve Palpatine in the hopes of saving Padme via the dark side because he had seen visions of her death and was afraid of losing her.
Seeing Vader stand over padme I can only imagine one sentence repeating in his head over and over again. “ It seems that in your anger, You..........killed her “

@@thomasraahauge5231 As you described Vader's tear, a little tear formed in the corner of my eye. I don't know if it was the story or just my eyes being tired, but dang if that timing wasn't perfect. Good job, man!
Hayden was a great actor and nobody can convince me otherwise. Not only did he deliver the angst of a young adult perfectly, but he also played the menacing part of the dark side within himself which later became Vader. George Lucas made many mistakes, but not in choosing actors.
Well, Hayden was rather weak in episode 2. I agree that his performance in Episode 3 was very good. Still, it's hard to blame any actor in any episode when the script is shit. Especially episode 2.
@@weiserEsel I love his acting in 2. He plays the character that he was meant to. You aren't supposed to like Anakin. He's the insufferable prodigy who has all the issues that a man his age goes through. I used to hate episode 2, but once I lived through those years myself, I began to appreciate the angst and edginess that Anakin projects. Being a young man who is held back from realizing his future is immensely frustrating and can drive him crazy. It may not be pleasant or terribly nuanced, but Anakin's character in Attack of the Clones is exactly what he would be in a real life scenario.
Unfortunately, it took most of you 15 years to finally admit this. And you still wont cut George Lucas any slack, you keep saying he made many mistakes. He made ZERO mistakes. Episodes 1 to 6 are all amazing, EXACTLY the way they are!
@@glim3mer Agreed. People love to be armchair critics of George Lucas, but I don't think anyone could've made those movies any better. I was very disappointed when Lucas listened to the haters and signed away his rights to the franchise.
Just realized that Vader's story parallels the story in Dr Horrible's Musical Blog, for those have seen that or not. Dr Horrible gets exactly what he had always wanted, but it's bitter because it cost him the woman that he loved.
Amazing how even in a mask, there are times in Return of the Jedi where you can see or feel the emotion Vader is feeling, like during the conversation he and Luke have, after Luke has surrendered and before they go to the Emperor, and again as the Emperor is killing Luke before Vader turns on him and throws him down the shaft. The music at those moments perfectly helps the audience to feel what Vader is feeling.
I wanna see a Vader Spinoff film like shortly after ROTS but If that happens I wanna see this as the final scene where he says goodbye to Padmé one last time and the film cuts after he leaves
Legends books covers that as well. The Darth Vader trilogy Labyrinth of Evil - Revenge of the Sith - The RIse of Darth Vader The last one gives an interesting insight in how he felt after his transformation
If you like Canon stuff too, there's Charles Soule's Vader comic book series. Issue #1 starts right after Vader's big "No!". Very cool to see Vader (and the Republic) in those moments immediately after ROTS. The series continues from that moment, and after 25 issues, ends in a moment somewhat similar to what you described. It's great!
After watching the Clone Wars, you really feel this loss more. She was such a wonderful woman. She was so kind and strong. So brave and loyal. She believed in the things she fought for and you know she would have died for them in a second. What she believed in was people. That was what she would have died for. People. She was a light in a galaxy otherwise so filled with darkness. Corruption and filth everywhere and she rose above it all. She was a giant amongst men. It really is a tragedy to see someone so *great* die. No wonder Luke could beat his father's darkness. His mother's light was in him.
I'm glad someone in the comments is actually talking about Padme, most people are too busy feeling sorry for Vader to remember that she was a human, not just a sad story

"Lord Vader we've..." I stopped myself further as I came upon Lord Vader with his hand placed upon the tomb of the late Queen Padme, I've seen many people pay their respects on both sides of this war but sometimes in the chaos you forget how that invisible pain of loss really bleeds through the surface of almost all creatures...I've watched Rebels collect their dead and mourn and I've shared my fair bit of grieving. I could never really understand what it must be like to walk in the boots of Vader but where we do relate is our faces hidden away from everyone - hidden away in armor that does nothing more than offer basic protection and alienate us from the rest of the outside world. This armor is a prison in it's own sense, I've often wondered if he's felt that way as well. "My apologizes sir, I did not mean to interrupt you." I quietly stammered while turning back around the other way to leave him to his moment of peace with someone her clearly had known, before walking away I holstered my blaster and turned back. "TK-661 you may stay, was there something you needed to report to me." "..I was instructed to let you know we've secured the palace along with sectors D-3 and D19, walkers are holding and waiting further orders as well....It's not my business to ask but..did you know the Queen?" There was a slight lull in the air even as the rain fell to the ground outside the mausoleum, he didn't say anything and given the stories about Vader from the Imperial officers - I was scared I was about to meet the fate many of them had. "I ask because I grew up here, never really felt like I fit in with a lot of the crowds of politicians but she was different, she wasn't a politician she was the one person who made Naboo really worth sticking around for and everything she believed in and fought for was noble in itself, I never got to meet her in person but I just always felt like she was even a greater person beyond the holonet." A silence hung over us both, he softly placed his hand on the stomach of the statue and with a solemn tone he replied "She was the brightest star and everything the Republic should have been." I didn't say anything but nodded in agreement with his words, I could see other squads on the move towards us "Lord Vader, I'll inform them that you require more time to conduct your mission if that would be preferred." "No Trooper, that will not be necessary." He said while turning back around and preparing to leave and as he made his way down the stairs he briefly stopped and turned his head back towards me "Trooper, never let go of who you are and you will survive." He continued walking with me off to his right as the other squads formed up as we prepared to evacuate Naboo, I took a different shuttle off planet than Lord Vader but his words stuck with me, I couldn't figure out what he meant at the time but years late I would.
I feel like Vader wouldn’t have said any of the things you have him saying. He would have callously asked the trooper to update him on the siege at best and just snapped his neck with the Force at worst. Definitely wouldn’t have given him words of inspiration.
Imagine, stormtroopers mercilessly raiding Naboo, looking for rebels, with Vader at the front. Until they arrive at *her* mausoleum. He's never seen this place, but he recognizes her face carved on the tombstone. He then tells his men: "Leave me alone. Now." And, as soon as he's sure he's the only one left, he starts caressing her grave, before getting on his knees and whispering, with a shaking voice: *"I'm... I'm truly sorry... I swear I didn't mean to..."*

When I was a kid , I always thought that Vader was just a monster. But now , many years later , I realize that this is not the theme of a monster... It’s the theme of a broken soul. ( Edit : how tf do i have so many likes ? )
Palpatine made Anakin suffer the cruelest pain of all: having killed his loved one, only to be cursed by nearly eternal life. Every inch of his body, every waking second is excruciating pain. Everything that touches his scorched flesh is a harsh and bitter flame. Every breath he takes reminds him of the life he took. He suffers in Hell. Suffers a thousand times more than any other living thing. So he lets the rest of the world suffer. He is not a monster. He is a victim, left with nothing but hate, anger, pain, and despair.
Exactly! I grew up with a very similar question. Why is Vader so evil, when in fact he has two amazing kids and he is so gifted... Then when I grew up, and experienced myself the behavior of adults. I learned all too well, what drove Anakin in the pits of hell and more specifically, what made him the Lord of it.
Anakins tale is a tale of caution. The world is full of suffering. Human beings face adversity everyday. Yet, not all of them end up like Anakin. It is a tragedy what happened to Anakin, but it's a warning to the rest of us. Not everyone gives in to their darkness. Most people actually push through and overcome. Hence his tale of caution. Regardless, I feel for Anakin. Any one of us could easily become him. We must persevere....
He murdered a bunch of little kids in cold blood and is responsible for more deaths than Hitler and Stalin combined. Let's not romanticize him too much.
A lot of people hate the prequels and the Clone Wars series saying it portraits Anakin as weak and pathetic but on the contrary i think it makes him look stronger. He lost everything and bit by bit all the love and happiness in him was replaced by hate and suffering towards the jedi and himself. He lost Qui-Gon, the man who freed him from slavery, as a true jedi should, because the jedi order was too blind to see the dark side rising. He lost his padawan because the jedi-council cared more about politics and power in the senate than what they sensed to be right. He lost his mother because the jedi were more concerned with waging war than serving the good by freeing slaves and protecting the innocent. He lost his wife because the jedi refused his plea for help and instead told him to let go, essentially to let his loved ones die. He lost his faith in the light side because the ones who represented it chose to murder an unarmed man and his only hope of saving his wife. He lost the closest thing he ever had to a father because the jedi forced his hand. and finally he lost himself when his anger and suffering were finally unleashed so he lost control and killed his wife. Anakin did not turn to the dark side. He was pushed from the light.
no one says the clone wars series portrays Anakin as weak or pathetic. It makes him better as a character by adding more to him. Where the fuck did you get that shit from.
It is so sad the story of Anakin and Vader, so tragic he lost everyone he cared about he went to the darkest of the dark to save the ones he loved he even embraced to evil to save Padme but she sadly passed and Vader believed it to be his fault his failure made him hate himself, he began to have depression, he was heartless and cruel. Only when he found out about Luke he began to remerge as Anakin, and once he learned of Leia being his daughter he was both happy and sad since he tried to both kill her and he tortured her he redeemed himself aboard the 2nd Death Star. He would embrace the light side one more time dying in peace
@@gorm3h928 Emperor Palpatine killed her to save Anakin. He used the abilities that he learned from Plageius to siphon the life from Padme and give it to Anakin. The moment Vader rose from that table Padme died.
@@KaIubka I disagree - the droid that said she lost the will to live couldn't detect Sidius's Midichlorian shenanigans and thus THOUGHT that she had lost the will to live. I mean she probably did, but Sidius's Midichlorian manipulation is, without a doubt in my mind, what finished her off.
Did you ever hear the Tragedy of the Chosen One? He was so powerful that he believed he could stop the ones he loved from certain death. He became so powerful the only thing he feared was loss. Unfortunately, he burned everything he held dear to the ground, then his former master and brother defeated him in a duel, leaving him to be encased in eternal misery. Ironic, he could save others from going down dark paths, but not himself.
As corny as some of the superficial aspects of Revenge of the Sith are, (i.e., certain special effects scenes, dialogue ect.. which have been critiqued to no end) when you ask yourself the question; what is this movie really about you get a startling answer. It is an exploration of the only thing that really matters regarding Human affairs, a juxtaposition of Love and Power. Vader has superfluous ability, unlimited resources and the strength to peer into the hearts of other men seeing only fear and trepidation and controls them based on that fear, he knows that there is nothing more terrifying than himself and yet he is utterly dissatisfied with his complete acquisition of Power; this is the tragedy of Vader, he is a prisoner trapped in a cell which expands to the farthest reaches of the Galaxy. He may sit on the highest throne of the most prosperous planet and yet there is more freedom in the heart of a lowly clerk who works only for his family because he loves and knows that he is loved and exerts no power over anybody. Vader does not love and therefore cannot be loved but only feared, his obsession and Lust for power corrupts him so totally that the only thing in the universe which he regards as nobler than himself, Padmè, is destroyed by him. Vader is then ruled by this desire subject entirely to its demands and nothing is sufficient to satisfy its hunger; he stands utterly alone in the universe as a terrible obelisk to the pursuit of power. :(
There is so much power in this image, so many themes and symbols which make you just drop your jaw in amazement. Here Vader is, a man who has changed so much in such a short span of time, visiting his love’s grave. Vader stares at her, knowing that the tomb she is encased in is the result of his actions. He destroyed his love, all in an attempt to save her. Vader is here to apologize, hoping Padmé will forgive him, but even if she does, he will never forgive himself. Vader inflicts so much pain upon others, yet it’s minuscule in comparison to the pain he’s inflicted upon himself. To everyone around him, Vader is a ruthless monsters, but to himself, he is shattered beyond repair, and as the rain portrays, drowning in his sorrrow.

Two Coffins: One laid to rest for an eternal peaceful slumber, forever to walk on the edges of the world's and dream whatever they wish too. To see the stars and planet both birth new life among them and to die with the long lives they have given. The other to walk among the world without the ones who used to call Friends, Family & Loved ones, but instead must now walk in the veil of shadows of anger, sorrow, grief and despair. Never to know the true feeling of one's touch again, but only to know death that he brings upon others. Two Coffins are here now. No matter how many times i repeat listening to this, i will never forget the pain Darth Vader sufferd just because he wanted to save those he loved....
There needs to be a Vader solo film that really shows the hell Vader went through everyday, from the memories of everyone he lost and destroyed to trying to kill himself. If done correctly it would be the darkest film ever made
Original Trilogy: Villain to a tragic hero who came to an unfortunate but redeeming end Prequels: Building on the tragic hero with a love story, that has a dark and horrid end Sequels: Utter-fucking cash grab This music makes me think of the OT and sequels of the absolute depressing story of Anakin/Darth Vader where a man had to chose between a life he was promised (Jedi Order) and a life he wanted (Betray the order and live with his wife) and we see him suffer from the wrong choice. Then I thought of how awful the sequels are with Rey having the nerve to call herself a Skywalker, seriously fuck the sequels
I think it would’ve made it a bit better if she was a Kenobi, and that would explain why her and Ben Solo (who is actually a Skywalker) were connected so deeply with the force, because of their grandfathers
The sequels were pretty trash I have to say. I enjoyed 7 somewhat, 8 didn't do anything for me and 9 was pretty garbage to be honest. I was disinterested by the end.
1:57 I actually started tearing up, just thinking of Anakins past, being a slave and becoming a Jedi and then throwing everything he had away to save padme but in the end he fell for Palpatines trap. Episode 3 is one of the most emotional films I've ever seen and I'm proud of it. Good job George.. well played.
I have felt the smallest fraction of what Vader feels. That endless pit of self loathing. The desire to do *SOMETHING* with yourself and knowing that suicide is not the right answer. So you throw yourself into the fray in hopes that you die in glory. But you cannot. You cannot die. You cannot live either. I felt that for years until around November of 2019. Just remember Niche. Without suffering, life has no meaning.
@@user-rk5cx2vu8l How did I do what? Live? I just remembered nearly every day that "If you give up on life, how will you get the opportunity to make it your bitch later down the road?" That desire to make life my bitch, to take it across my knee, kept me going. As ironic as it is, vengeance against the world kept me alive for years.
“Fear is the path to the dark side, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering. Qui-Gon-Jins funeral anakin was fearful. Shmis death, he was angry and killed all the tusken raiders. Anakin chokes Padme and loses the fight to Obi-Wan “I hate you”. He now suffers as Darth Vader
"You do not know the power of the Dark Side. I must obey my master l." Just goes to show how trapped he really was. "Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny."😢
This music just gets me right in the feels, man. And it hurts even more when u realize that Anakin only wanted to have the power to protect those he cared about.Yes, Anakin made mistakes. But only because he was manipulated by Palpatine, the utter douchebag and he was let down by the council. Every time. And even at the end, by Obi Wan. Anakin fought so much and sacrificed so much and in the end, the Universe gave him NOTHING in return. The story of Darth Vader is the story of a sad and broken man who lost everything because everyone around him eventually failed him.
Revenge of the sith is the best Star Wars film if you are looking for emotion, almost all emotions are in it, that's why people love it so much, the scenes express emotion as well as the music, the most beautiful music in history.
The sad part is what Anakin lost. Naboo symbolizes paradise; beautiful scenery, excellent climate, small-town feel, organic, flowing architecture, and wonderful government. (Even under the empire, Naboo enjoyed large amounts of self-government). Padme likewise represents a "perfect" woman (of course, in the eye of the beholder and all that, but generally speaking) She's intelligent, witty, an excellent speaker, charismatic, gorgeous, powerful, wealthy, and most of all, a politician and a woman who actually cares. Look at her apartment in ROTS (when Kenobi tells her Anakin has turned). That's what Anakin could have had. A lavish lifestyle with the girl of his dreams (literally). Not to mention that while Padme loved him, I feel Anakin's relationship is more obsessive. He's willing to kill children for her, etc. But most importantly, he never tells Padme he loves her. When he expresses his feelings, it's always in terms of pain. (I'm in agony, hoping this kiss won't become a scar, etc.) His obsession is tearing him apart. It's based on medieval courtly love with Shakespearean influences. (Knight and member of the court he is sworn to protect). It's a love that is somewhat off, and one we desperately want to succeed, but that we know is doomed to fail from the moment they first kiss on that balcony in Naboo. Padme's death is a self-fulfilling prophecy. By trying to prevent it, Anakin ends up causing it instead. And Anakin suffers a fate worse than death. It is a love that brings down the galaxy and causes untold suffering. What could have been if they succeeded, if they resisted temptation? We can only imagine.
I watched clone wars as a kid, seen a new hope and empire strikes back but never really made a connections between them and didn't really pay attention all that much so you could imagine how I felt when my sister went "Hey star wars is on TV!"... Little did I know it was revenge of the sith. I watched, and watched, couldn't look away as I knew padme, anakin and obi Wan. It broke me
Revenge of the sith will always be my favorite movie. The level of emotion and betrayal is unparalleled. Also with the heartbreak and two brothers fighting to the death. No movie ever will match this. Anakin gained the galaxy but lost himself
This is undoubtedly my favorite star wars film. Yeah, the acting isn't amazing but it caps off the story of anger, betrayal, vengeance, and fear so nicely and with so much truth. There are no winners, only those that walk away alive.
And there he stood, emote, trying to hold back the tears of what he done to his one true love. Rain and fire bombs where the only noise that could be heard rustling in the temple. As the guards stood by to watch they could see him touching the grave head. Head down hand trembling as his men thought for a second they saw weakness. That day they knew he was still human.
Reading all those comments while listening to this music got me in tears..... I have come to realize, Dearth Vader is the most tragical character in the history of fiction
You know why Darth Vader was one of the best vilain of all time? It's not about power, or evilness. I was the best vilain because he was human: he deeply care about his mother, his masters and his wife. Everything was taken away from him. For me, Anakin became Darth Vader because he snap at some point. It was too much for him, and he couldn't bear to loose anything else. But I will always remember the kind and stubborn jedi he was.
Then those girls are dumb :) So ignorant to think that just because men are forced not to show it, that there isn't pain and suffering underneath; and yet, every tremble, every weakness of the knees is still ignored.
@Azu The Padawan Ehh, it's a meme for a reason. Women do have a tendency to claim every problem they face is exclusive to them based on their gender. I won't even speak for all women, but that's absolutely what you see from them in the media, which sadly controls the direction our world goes in.
When I heard the whole video, I suddenly felt a great disturbance in the Force...as if millions of voices cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced.
The dragon had brought fourth Vader from your heart to slay. The cold venom on Vaders blood. The furnace of Vaders fury. The black hatred of seizing her throat to silence her lying mouth. And there is one blazing moment in which you finally understand that there was no dragon. That there was no Vader. That there was only you. Only Anakin Skywalker. That it was all you. Is you. Only you. You killed her. You killed her because when you could have saved her, when you could have gone away with her, when you could have been thinking about her, you were thinking about yourself. It is in this blazing moment that you fully understand the trap of the Dark Side. The final cruelty of the Sith. Because now yourself is all you will ever have

Darth Vader stood outside the tomb of Padmé Amidala, the final resting place of his beloved wife. He had come to mourn the loss of the woman he loved, and to see her for a final time. As he approached the entrance, the guard standing watch froze in fear at the sight of the Sith Lord. But to his surprise, Vader merely pushed him aside and entered the tomb without a word. Inside, Vader stood before the tomb of Padmé, his breathing echoing as he looked upon her. He could feel the pain, regret and self-hatred swelling inside him, tormenting him. It was the endless cycle of the dark side, corrupting him. Slowly, Vader reached up and removed his helmet, revealing the scarred and disfigured face of Anakin Skywalker. Tears streamed down his face as he looked upon his wife with his own eyes for one last time. For a brief moment, as he reminisced over the memories of their love and the life he had once known, the blue eyes of Anakin Skywalker flickered to life, pushing aside the Sith yellow that had consumed him for so long. But the moment was fleeting, and soon enough the dark side took hold of him, leaving him enslaved once again. Vader put his helmet back on and reached out to touch Padme's face, as if to say goodbye, before turning to leave. After exiting the tomb, he looked back at the guard standing watch and spoke only a few words. "Guard her well." he said...
Reminds me of my father after my mother passed - this picture defines him perfectly. A man that lost himself the day the woman he loved passed on. A man that could not confront the truth, a man perpetually confined to his trauma, frozen in the past, and forced into wearing a mask to hide the chaos that is now him. Tragic.
"His story is like an ant hill. The deeper you go the more tunnels you uncover. Around each turn fangs ready to bite, but I suspect under all of that you'd find just a lonely man. With a wounded heart, and a broken dream."
"Vader breathes slowly, slower than usual as he climbs the steps of the mausoleum. He slowly walks toward the coffin to see his wife lying there motionless. Vader extends his arm out and touches the coffin. Hate builds in him, he feels deserving of this pain he now finds himself in. The suit causes him so much pain, but he endures. He retracts his hand, then turns around down the steps once more, his arms at his side, one hand clenched tightly."
"Such rain such sorrow my the pain echoes with the thunder and cracks with the lightning. Consumed by the shadows of the past and the distant memories flash as each bolt of light flashes. A reminder of when fear became anger, anger became hate, and hate lead to suffering."
I lost the love of my life, I’ve shed tears and wanted to die passively from losing her, gotten earth-shattering rage for it separating me from her, driven so insane it’s hard to remember who I am, hated the world and everything that’s “pure”, and embracing everything which is evil, finally: giving in to darkness to save myself. Craziest part, no one I know realizes what’s happened. Sometimes it’s better to be the one in the coffin.
"she was alive... I felt it"
And the emperor lied to him, to make him miserable, and to use Anakin's pain and rage to fulfill his own selfish purpose!

Deep under all that hate and anger, Vader was just a broken hearted young man who had lost everything he ever loved and made mistakes because of it.
Stars Wars basically backs up every person in jail without parole.. A direct spear to the heart of the government. Powerful, Walker, he was.
I think you got it backwards. He lost everything he loved because he made critical mistakes, namely failing to think through his fear, failing to set aside his obsessive need to protect, and forgetting that you can't save someone by sacrificing what they'd die for.

Hayden was a great actor and nobody can convince me otherwise. Not only did he deliver the angst of a young adult perfectly, but he also played the menacing part of the dark side within himself which later became Vader. George Lucas made many mistakes, but not in choosing actors.
@Bernard de Fontaines they dismiss him because they can't help but associate him with the role he was playing.

The music at those moments perfectly helps the audience to feel what Vader is feeling.
Anakin's story taught me that when you pursue what you want most, you become blind to what you already have.
The clone wars makes revenge of the Sith so much sadder

WHY IS PADME'S GRAVE SUITE IN RAVENS THEME???????????
"TK-661 you may stay, was there something you needed to report to me."
"..I was instructed to let you know we've secured the palace along with sectors D-3 and D19, walkers are holding and waiting further orders as well....It's not my business to ask but..did you know the Queen?"
There was a slight lull in the air even as the rain fell to the ground outside the mausoleum, he didn't say anything and given the stories about Vader from the Imperial officers - I was scared I was about to meet the fate many of them had.
"I ask because I grew up here, never really felt like I fit in with a lot of the crowds of politicians but she was different, she wasn't a politician she was the one person who made Naboo really worth sticking around for and everything she believed in and fought for was noble in itself, I never got to meet her in person but I just always felt like she was even a greater person beyond the holonet."
A silence hung over us both, he softly placed his hand on the stomach of the statue and with a solemn tone he replied
"She was the brightest star and everything the Republic should have been." I didn't say anything but nodded in agreement with his words, I could see other squads on the move towards us
"Lord Vader, I'll inform them that you require more time to conduct your mission if that would be preferred."
"No Trooper, that will not be necessary." He said while turning back around and preparing to leave and as he made his way down the stairs he briefly stopped and turned his head back towards me
"Trooper, never let go of who you are and you will survive."
He continued walking with me off to his right as the other squads formed up as we prepared to evacuate Naboo, I took a different shuttle off planet than Lord Vader but his words stuck with me, I couldn't figure out what he meant at the time but years late I would.
This is so... perfect. You are a great writer.
Beautifully written. Well done.
I feel like Vader wouldn’t have said any of the things you have him saying. He would have callously asked the trooper to update him on the siege at best and just snapped his neck with the Force at worst. Definitely wouldn’t have given him words of inspiration.
Had more emotion than episode 7-9
Imagine, stormtroopers mercilessly raiding Naboo, looking for rebels, with Vader at the front. Until they arrive at *her* mausoleum. He's never seen this place, but he recognizes her face carved on the tombstone. He then tells his men:
"Leave me alone. Now."
And, as soon as he's sure he's the only one left, he starts caressing her grave, before getting on his knees and whispering, with a shaking voice:
*"I'm... I'm truly sorry... I swear I didn't mean to..."*
You literally made me cry you did a really good job with writing and I'm not saying it ironically
I believe he canonically visited padmes grave often and I doubt the place of her burial would have been kept secret from the 2nd man of the empire

But now , many years later , I realize that this is not the theme of a monster...

@@thomasraahauge5231 That's why i'd like to see a good ending to the clone wars

A lot of people hate the prequels and the Clone Wars series saying it portraits Anakin as weak and pathetic but on the
contrary i think it makes him look stronger. He lost everything and bit by bit all the love and happiness in him was replaced by hate
and suffering towards the jedi and himself.
And he was cursed with almost eternal life. Not even death could relieve him of his misery and suffering.
no one says the clone wars series portrays Anakin as weak or pathetic. It makes him better as a character by adding more to him. Where the fuck did you get that shit from.
It builds up his character development, unlike the sequel that can't even do that except Luke drinking blue milk.

@@sarahmccann7430 This is actually such a cool idea. I'm genuinely impressed.
Willliam Thiele haha thanks
@Luke Allen Just shut up and enjoy the music dude
Mate, I'm going to do that right now, how did you do it?
@@user-rk5cx2vu8l How did I do what? Live? I just remembered nearly every day that "If you give up on life, how will you get the opportunity to make it your bitch later down the road?" That desire to make life my bitch, to take it across my knee, kept me going. As ironic as it is, vengeance against the world kept me alive for years.
@@VoiceOfTheEmperor ur so motivational

“Fear is the path to the dark side, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering.
Qui-Gon-Jins funeral anakin was fearful. Shmis death, he was angry and killed all the tusken raiders. Anakin chokes Padme and loses the fight to Obi-Wan “I hate you”. He now suffers as Darth Vader
Imagine... if only Vader's last words to his son Luke were
"You have your Mother's eyes...."
I’ll admit it, this had me *choked* up.
Yeah i felt the same way
Careful not to choke on your aspirations
@@SpartanK4102 🤣 i find your lack of faith disturbing
"You do not know the power of the Dark Side. I must obey my master l."

"Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny."😢
4:37 seems they are saying ''I've become a Sith lord,but I couldn't save her''
Gamer 4Ever nope, it’s actually sanskrit.
I think it says why couldn't i save her for i am a sith lord not 100% tho
There is a saying " never fight a man who has nothing to lose " Lord Darth Vader is the purest sample we have
The sad part is what Anakin lost.
Rip David Prowse 1935 - 2020, you shall be missed.
“I feel the good in you let go of your hate”
“It is too late for me....son”
I would love to see this scene happen in live action. Legit would cry.
Damm, I love Anakin Skywalker...
It broke me
"What Do You Hate Most in This Universe?"
"...Myself"
Revenge of the sith will always be my favorite movie. The level of emotion and betrayal is unparalleled. Also with the heartbreak and two brothers fighting to the death. No movie ever will match this. Anakin gained the galaxy but lost himself
something about his mask still makes him look like hes a young adult again, but only when he sees Padme
Have you ever heard the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker? I'm not surprised...it's not a story the Rebellion would tell you."
“Those who are heartless, once cared too much”
You can almost hear the millions of people die, the tragedy as freedom ends with thunderous applause.
Never have i ever felt goosebumps literally in my face. 2:18. My whole childhood of star wars just came back to me.
When *Darth Vader* asked *Emperor Sheev Palpatine* about *Padmé...*
_I felt that._
4:45 Because of SC 38 Reimagined, I will never not hear "I HATE YOU!" and "You were my brother, Anakin!" from Anakin and Obi-Wan when the track play.
His mother, Luke and Padme where the only people who saw Anakin as what he wanted to be seen: A person
She was alive! I could feel it!
When you’re young you root for the hero
When you’re older you understand the villain

Then those girls are dumb :)
So ignorant to think that just because men are forced not to show it, that there isn't pain and suffering underneath; and yet, every tremble, every weakness of the knees is still ignored.
Padme: dies
@@ladyfoxwf1075 kinda fits Vader, hes this tough merciless killing machine on the outside but a heartbroken man who lost everything in the inside.
@1 1 I think that just means you're sane.
ROTS was far sadder than the Titanic, let's be real
@4:46: “I HATE YOU!! - Anakin
“You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you!” - Obi Wan.
Awesome moment from ‘Scene 38 Reimagined’. Truly emotional.
R.I.P to both of them who truly loved each other and now are resting together may the force be with them
The dragon had brought fourth Vader from your heart to slay. Because now yourself is all you will ever have
Shattered, no words to describe that last episode
*slow clap* they really did it well this time.
Still not going to watch rebels though fuck that shit they had a chance to win me over with the first 2 seasons its kiddy show garbage dreaming to be half as good as clone wars👏
@@pain002 I agree, I've never seen it and it doesn't really interest me, even with all of the clone wars characters in it. Visual artstyle also took a turn for the worst.
*Where is Padme ?, is she safe ? , is she alright ?*
-Vader's first words in his suit
Reminds me of my father after my mother passed - this picture defines him perfectly. A man that lost himself the day the woman he loved passed on. A man that could not confront the truth, a man perpetually confined to his trauma, frozen in the past, and forced into wearing a mask to hide the chaos that is now him. Tragic.
This Is Why Vader Is My Favourite Star Wars Character Misunderstood In Both Forms Of Light And Dark
An Imperial Officer: Who do you hate most Lord Vader?
Darth Vader: I hate myself. (force chokes the officer.)
The wish the sequel trilogy made me feel as much emotions as this theme does.
Everytime I hear a Darth Vader theme I start to tear up, from a brave jedi to a sith lord
