I was lurking around for quite a while out of interest and was astonished by how long it took to get a PB, let alone a WR. Everytime you failed due to the game screwing you over was a pain to see, but especially from my experience with Inferno and seeing it being an absolute pain it did made me feel a bit better about myself for having difficulties with it as well. For that, congratulations with the world rekky and thanks for showing that sometimes it is just the difficulty being an asshole.

Can somebody explain to me how this run was ~5 MINUTES faster than his previous one with 48:46? Where did he cut so much time? Also, where did he save? In the end it said he saved 1 time?!
the save was because of the "no intro category" meaning he starts in raccoon city directly rather doing the intro. which also shaves off the 3-4 minutes intro.

When I was playing on inferno with my mum we siding get the record but we had the ifint rocket we still valued but my brother he is 16 and got it at the right time and did it at 1hour and 40 minutes

@@RCsFinest Shooting without hitting enemies or let them bite him (on purpose) lowers game's difficulty! DDA is dynamic difficulty adjustment programmed in games. Advancing further and further the game will try to help the player who misses while shooting or get bites often by making enemies weak as it categorizes the player as unexperienced. The game will make enemies super tough and hard to beat if the player never miss targets and never get bites!

@@rosita3528 you're talking to a speedrunner since the og res came out, orch in that video is playing on a "NO INTRO" category so yes mod usage is correct there.
@@mave7081 I've been playing the OGs since they came out and don't use mods. My speed run with 3make was 1 hour and 20 minutes with no mods. But my point was that maybe the commenter didn't think his speed run counted as a record since he qas using mods
