Always knew about the Chicago Fire, but never have heard of the Peshtigo Fire. 👍

Yes, most folks have heard of the Chicago Fire, because that is what they teach in history classes, unfortunately. Like I said in the video, the Peshtigo Fire is STILL the deadliest fire in world history and I think it is a tragedy that those folks are all but forgotten.

Those bicycle frames were build heavy back in the day. 👍

Absolutely, even the first bicycle that I owned had pretty heavy frame bars.

I'm not sure if y'all had time to watch the entire video, but I love history, too. I wanted to go more into detail, but I had to heavily edit it out because I know most folks just wouldn't watch such a long video. I appreciate ya, Ray Ray. Say hi to Katie for us.

I'm sure it would look a LOT different in real life if we could go back in time and see what it looked like before the fire.

I'm sure that the ONLY reason I even knew about it was because my great grandmother was a survivor of it.

They have some T-Shirts for sale and some books, but most of the stuff in that building is only for the museum.

It really is. Most folks, sadly, have never even heard of the Peshtigo Fire, and it is STILL the world's most deadly fire.

It was very interesting piece of history and the museum had a lot of things.

Yes, and the more I researched the interesting it got. It would have been cool to go up into the steeple, but I doubt if they allow that.

It is sad. So many more people, livestock, wild animals, etc, etc, and etc died than in the "great Chicago fire" and most folks have never even heard of it. It is STILL the world's deadliest fire and most don't even know. Thanks, Larry.
