I sent my wife back for a refund and we went across the street and stayed at the holiday inn, with open arms and even better accommodations. so we check in and get our rooms and i call that hotel and asked if they had "3" rooms for that night and was told" sure" to come on in will have them waiting for us, so then next day before getting back on the road i stop by and this is what happen,.....(see Video) This is a Direct violation of the 1964 civil rights act against my mom and everyone else in that car group. This girl needs to be fired immediately, its says Jim Crow and "the Black Code" is alive and well in small town Mississippi! and if that's not bad enough to wake up in the morning and see displayed all over town Rebel flags that represents racism at its core i can not let this go and look the other way as so many did 65 years ago and expected nothing to happen of a murdered 14 year old black child. the manager seemed nice and concerned but did not get it! as you can clearly see he does not take it seriously that 3 times in one day is 3 times too many, and he has ample reason to fire her on the spot. there are no LABOR LAWS to prevent him from doing so, but it reflects badly on his ignorance of the law as well his readiness to just look the other way meanwhile blacks are being refused public accommodation some may think this is no big deal, its so easy to except the small things and allow them to grow and fester into far bigger, the very reason the 2 men got off for killing a 14 year old kid 60 years ago . this happened at: Comfort inn- Cleveland Mississippi N. I live on the outskirts of the city of Cleveland in the small town of Renova. I can totally agree that racism is present in my little city. The predominantly black and predominantly white schools just consolidated 2 years ago. I spent 2 years at the predominantly black high school and 2 at the consolidated high school and even at the consolidated high school their were still problems. No just from white people, but also from the black students who went to the predominantly white school. A friend of mine was cheated out of her valedictorian spot for a white girl who had a lower GPA. However, their is also a lot of good things about my city. We've come much further than we used to be.
