    I first heard of Lester on a random far away A.M. radio station in my car. I never forgot his voice or his mission. I didn't even know he died so early till I looked up his biography. Very touching and forever not forgotten amongst the souls of saints.

    There wasn't a person who, needing help or healing, that Jesus turned away and did not heal or help with compassion. Brother Roloff thankfully reminds us of this in this piece.

    I enjoy his preaching and singing. I am a preacher and wish I could preach like him. I don't think ever could. He was a natural preacher. He had a natural gift from God like Babe Ruth did for baseball. Pastor Roloff has been in heaven many years earth time, but heaven time a few minutes.

    Brother Roloff had more impact on my ministry than any other mortal man! I will always thank my Lord upon every remembrance of him.

    A true branch from the True Branch can't wait to be in glory singing with him about the salvations of Jesus

    I like the part, "for no one before had cared for their souls, like the stranger who sat by the sea". How great our Lord is, Psalm 147 says, "He telleth the number of the stars and calleth them all by their names". And dear friend if He cares enough to know and call all the stars, how much more does He care for you and me, Oh what love that drew salvations plan, oh the grace that brought it down to man, oh the mighty gulf that God did span- At Calvary!

    Exactly right, bro! The Gadarenes turned HIM away, and the rich young ruler walked away.

      I Can you imagine seeing the Word of God just chilling, waiting to talk with me. To tell me who and what I really am and where I really belong. With him... let's humble ourselves. Come to Christ

    1 The strangers to God,
    His grace and His love,
    Were gathered by blue Galilee.
    To listen with joy
    To words from the lips
    Of the Stranger who sat by the sea.
    Refrain:
    They came and they were blessed
    He gave the weary rest,
    He made the blinded eyes to see;
    He fed the hungry soul
    And made the wounded whole,
    By the waters of blue Galilee.
    2 They sat at His feet
    And looked in His face,
    Content in His presence to be;
    For no one before
    Had cared for their souls,
    Like the Stranger who sat by the sea.
    [Refrain]
    3 Their souls were athirst;
    They drank at the Fount
    Of waters, life-giving and free;
    Their strength was renewed,
    Their hope was revived
    By the Stranger who sat by the sea.
    [Refrain]
