In case anyone else was wondering about the cars at the lead of the parade; they were carrying the Cast Member ambassadors, who watch the parade from Town Square, to their place. They stop to let them out, then complete the route. The same process is used for the “family of honour” in the regular parade, Disney Stars on Parade.

Yeah, it's a great party, we had a wonderful night! Definitely very busy, they sold a lot of tickets - the crowds for the fireworks were enormous. I'll have more to share from it soon too, so keep an eye out! An amazing 2019 to you as well!
