I felt La Palma was not as good in practice as it looks in the videos and photos. It was quite nice, but certainly no nicer than anywhere else. In fact, many of the beaches are ugly and brown or grey. And the sea is not as blue as in the other Canary islands. The beaches are better in Fuerteventura or Lanzarote. And Madeira is much prettier. Sorry but that's what we thought. La Palma is very overrated.

We recommend you if you visit La Palma to stay in Fuencaliente and book Villa Los Torres I/II and Casa Morera.

la palma is a hikeing island.Not beach island wich are nice anyway-especially playa de Nogales
Been to all of the other islands. La Palma is by far the most beautiful of them all.
