the jacket what size do you normally wear and is that the same size or does it run small or big because I like to buy my father a jacket for hunting in the camo

@@josephmalinowski6817 i am a big guy...i can fit into 3X shirts & jackets but prefer 4X for extra room...the largest size milwaukee makes is 3X...i just bought this axis layering system in 3X and it fits me fine...its snug...not alot of room but its not too tight....its better for it to be snug so the heaters in the jacket are up against you...if the jacket is too loose you prob wont get the same heat transfer
Bought the tough shell a couple weeks ago when Home Depot started carrying them, then found one of these today for a steal of a deal at our electrical supply house. Throw this under the tough shell and turn then both on high and I am one toasty warm electrician! Gonna be great for working on docks this winter!
@@zacharysherry2910 buy it kinda snug if you can, like don’t buy a size bigger than you would need. I bought a 2nd one of these because the first one I bought was an XL and it is great but a little loose. So I got a large and it feels like it heats a lot better because it’s more snug. The heated hoodie plus this jacket plus the outer shell works great though! Stay warm bud!
Because of u I converted over from dewalt to Milwaukee. I have the impact driver and the drill combo with ONE-KEY™,the wet vac and now I’m about to buy the jacket. I am now a officially a Milwaukee fan
I have the Milwaukee jacket and it is really warm even without the power on. What I like the most about them is the heated handwarmer pockets. My son gave me mine for Christmas two years ago.
They also have a cord to adapt to the lighter / accessory outlet of your truck . Good for long winter trips .What I mostly use for layering is the vest . The outer shell looks interesting !
Absolutely love this new jacket. I work on tug boats it gets Frigid cold in the winter time I’ll have on up to four jackets to stay warm and you can just peel them off layer by layer if you do get too hot and then I wear a pair of thermals underneath with longjohns or regular pants and then a pair of coveralls and I wear a pair of boots that can handle -19° the only problem with this is . is getting my wife to let me buy one LOL.But this would work amazing for me in my line of work because I would just keep the two jackets together you never know when you’re going to get soaking wet out here it happens a lot so being -20 and soaking wet is it fun
I believe that I like the vest better. Keep it closer to the body where it’s needed and then it will replace one layer and another layer when ignited. That’s the idea at least
You guys wing it a bit on your channel... but I gotta give you props.... you're fearless and get at it when it comes to delivering consistent content, which grows that audience. I just hit the bell.
I live in Minnesota and everybody knows winters are very mild here LOL I only used the outer shell jacket all last year and stayed plenty warm but I will be getting the whole thing this year
I used to not be sold on heated jackets and heated outerwear until I tried mine. Everyone laughed when I bought my jacket last year. Driving from store to store just to clear snow from Satellite dishes or to an install when you are not outside long enough to get warmed up, the jacket kept me very warm. If you can afford it, it is well worth the investment. The only thing I wish mine had was a hood but for the deep discount I got it at, I will take the trade off.
Time to replace my Carhatt with some Milwaukee options. I like the way that you spoke about the handsome look. I need to step up my appearance game cause it does make a difference. I also gonna get some gridiron bib overalls. Thanks for the informational video, Vince!
If you were to buy the work site later and then decide you wanted the rain shell layer, will you be able to use them both on the axis jacket? And also can you buy the different shells separate?
I know the hydro break shell can be purchased separately, but can the Gridiron shell be purchased separately if you already have the AXIS? I have looked and can't find one. Even on Milwaukee's site.
i just bought this last week....i got the rain shell option as the layer...its awesome 👍 the grid iron shell option is $299....the rain shell option is $269
Do these not have the heated pockets? Not that i use it a lot but when i need it its so nice, not having that feature is a bummer, idk id have to test it but i think id rather have that, than the sholders
Hey vince if I was to get this same kit as this the axis layering system with the gridiron could I buy just the hydrobreak outter jacket separately?????
Personally I know where the button is right through the layers. It's like a little funny holding a finger on your chest for a few seconds lol no biggie
My only gripes with the heated sweaters are they’re so short it pulls up to your shoulders when you bend over. And although the battery placement is good, the shape of the batteries is still annoying.
PLEASE COMPARE this AXIS jacket with the TOUGHSHELL heated Jacket. If you are only buying one Milwaukee heated jacket, which one would you buy? The Axis or the Toughshell??? Thanks!
that is nice I wanted the Milwaukee heated jacket I just didn't know if I should go with the three in one heated jacket or the single zip-up heated jacket
I went with the heated sweatshirt. I love it. A little better price and I usually wear a jacket over it if it's too cold anyway working outside in Connecticut winters so it's perfect. Never once have I wished for more out of it. Also i bought my sweetheart 5 years ago and still works flawless and same batteries it came with. I hope this post helps
the gridiron shell is not 100% water proof...its just weather resistant...they have the rain shell option which is 100% waterproof...i got that one...the only issue is the axis jacket comes in black and the gridiron shell is black too...the rainshell only comes in grey so its mismatched
the axis combo kit only comes in 2 options...the gridiron & rainshell...just be aware the rainshell layer only comes in grey while the gridiron option is black to match the jacket
The old Milwaukee 3 in 1 heated jacket system, which is now discontinued, is better than the new Axis layering system. Wish I could find someone with the old style jackets still on hand or Milwaukee realizes that the old style was better and brings it back into production. The hood on the GridIron jacket for the Axis system is way to big, and in my opinion unusable, the hood on the old 3 in 1 system was more like a hoodie, which I prefer.

I believe that I like the vest better. Keep it closer to the body where it’s needed and then it will replace one layer and another layer when ignited. That’s the idea at least
Nice concept yet would want the outer shell to be waterproof and to offer some sort of stay dry lining in the jacket component.
Excellent video ! The Jacket is great. Of course, I do not work outdoors, but I appreciate good stuff!
Thanks Ma!! ❤️❤️
Just a heated sweater and your choice of weather resistant coat seams like best choice.

How do you adjust the heat once its layered together can you see the Hi/Med/Low with them joined together?
