Thanks for putting this out..for free. Loved seeing the way Mark thinks about polarity/phase of the drums. The band is awesome as well. Just picked up some of their music. Looking forward to the next videos.
Loving pretty much everything about this video! Can't wait for Part II :)
Great stuff, thanks for putting this together. Looking forward to part II
That's impressive. Cant wait for the mix vid
Great series!! Can't wait to see the rest of them. Everyone involved is top notch. I've known Marc a long time and he is brilliant engineer who goes to great lengths for tone and at the same time, he's entirely pragmatic about gear. This demonstrates something else that's important in tracking and mixing- Fantastic musicians, performances and ARRANGEMENT. The War on Peace guys are all badasses! Keep it up dudes!
those drums!!! everything sounds great!
Awesome video.. more of that, plz!
One of the coolest videos to watch. Loved the commentary/explanation. Nice work everyone.
Amazing!
All I can say is this video inspired me to another level, so amazing to watch Geniuses work with Elite equipment
Has to be one of the best video on the subject... congrats !!
I love to see when these kinds of things use Chicago studios. I tend to use my home studio for most of my work but when my clients want to use a commercial studio, the crc is one of the three that I use
Patiently waiting for the other episodes
Must be nice to be able to use a vintage 47 for a 'trash mic'... lol. Seriously. Great video! You guys rock!
Absolutely brilliant. This just confirms that with a full Apollo system you can just do anything.
Great Thx!
Thanks for this. Looking forward to P3 the mastering.
Still did a harmony on the background :D Love the video!
This is THE best tutorial video I've seen on tracking - even engineering in general! Thank you! :)
Flaw Taaarm!
