the theme of just wandering around town trying to find the objective and then realizing you just beat the boss of the area thinking he's just some special enemy
Weird amount of likes and I've been spending the last year trying to find a clear objective playing earthbound. Until I realized that you have to beat up the sharks, the sharks boss Frank. And Frankenstiyn mark 2. I thought it was sum special enemy.
You can't really think of a different RPG adventure starting theme than this one, it has everything: it's simple, silly, happy, and has some "Have a great day" vibes.
I first discovered earthbound at age 13. I actually played it at age 16. For some reason this makes me feel nostalgia for age 6-10. This game is magic i swear.
I would add that the Pallet Town theme was an incredibly heartfelt small town song, a bit more emotional than the Onett theme, but they both cinch that feeling of sanctuary and familiarity
I’m here because Earthbound is finally available on the Nintendo Switch. Never understood Mother trilogy nor why Ness is playable in Smash Bros. But now, awesome game and OST!

Very beautiful song. Captures many emotions and is a wonderful display of talent of Suzuki and Tanaka! Brings me to a place of pure hope and innocence, free of despair and worry
Kinda wish i didnt JUST start playing Earthbound a month or so ago, it feels so weird knowing how people have memories of this game, while i just got Jeff to join my party (i named him nerd because i never looked up the canon names lmao)
@@JapanimatorGD A tip that you probably won't use. If you press "Don't care" option in the characters name screen it will automatically put the canon name.
I LOVE this franchise! I heard about it when I was 8, but played it when I turned 15. My favorite music of the soundtrack though is Winters White, New Age Retro Hippy/Franky's theme and Snowman. As for Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings, I love Pollyanna and Bein' Friends! Just really catchy and beautiful.

@@thatpaigeperson9877 well tbh i kinda liked covid icl but still, 2019 was a great and memorable year overall. what i had already mentioned in the previous comment, getting a wii u, having my last birthday still living at my old house, etc

I’ve been listening to Onett for a lot of the time, and after I started playing Earthbound Beginning/Mother 1, and the overworld theme called Pollyanna playing in the background , I realized the first few second is reedition of the Pollyanna and then switch up to something entirely different.
This song makes me happy and angry at the same time. This is the main theme of wandering around town for a year straight until realizing that you finished an objective without knowing.
Another great day in the neighborhood! Very peaceful. The way every neighborhood in the world should be. Might be a small fry, but those city slickers can shove off!
