I’ve been banned from 4 goodwill stores and a church thrift store. The Goodwill's banned me for being a reseller and the church thrift store banned me because the cashier got mad at me because she was creeping me out by being way too personal asking me where I live, if I’m single and telling me that she thinks I’m really cute etc, and I told her that she was making me really uncomfortable, and she went nuts and refused to sell me the stuff I was buying and told me to leave and never come back.
As long as you pay what they have it priced at what is the problem…….i bought a Disney T-shirt not too long ago for $3 and it was too small for my daughter I put it on FB bidding wars and sold it for $17…….i just don’t understand! My sister works for a Thrift-shop and they have no problem selling to resellers! Keeps them in business! Great video!
What i would do is keep on shopping there as you've always have & if manager Karen starts up again or let her tell you herself to your face whether or not she doesn't want you shopping there. Then let her know that there's no law to where you can't bc you've done nothing wrong. You also have witnesses there that have known you for years. If threatens to kick you out you call the police. If she calls them then wait & explain to them your side. I'm pretty sure they'll reprimand her. I would also file a complaint with the ceo of that thrift shop.
Bro I bought a 1986 smiths tee from a buffalo exchange and I had the manager who clearly wanted to buy it try to up the price to $65 when they had it at 25 😂told the girl I’d pay 50 cuz it had yucky stains and sold it for 500. Fuck ‘em
It’s a new thing they’re doing at all thrift stores you can report people who are resellers like you :3 My Goodwill outlet bins is also banning resellers you’re not allowed to take your phone out and take pictures of the stuff you have or else they’ll ban you on sight
I would tell hr the exact date an item if you remember and they may can pull footage or something to go along with your statement. There’s no rules to limit a customer. You’re not stealing or breaking any rules .
You need to find out what region their corporate is and contact them. I've dealt with bad Goodwill managers before, and it helped when I talked to their boss.
She seems like the type of person who ruined goodwill. She might even be trying to backdoor stuff and reap the benefits herself. Can’t ever be a proper non profit with people like that running stores.
Also even if she was to do e-commerce that stuff would sit online because it sells to such a younger demographic that probably doesn’t even know goodwill has a website

Tell me about it theres this older Italian women that works at my local Goodwill and had the audacity to tell me if I have been changing tags cause I found a pair of Hunter wedge boots for $15 and a cart full of other kicks which were all priced cheap. I swear they get so jealous and I hate when they examine the item for a good minute like just ring it.
