Kim, I love your honesty. Your fridge needs cleaning, you show us. Your bedroom needs tidying, you show us. You need to finish unpacking, yep, you show us. This is what real folks need to see. Not some show home with nothing out of place that's going to make us feel inadequate. I'm also a home bird and even though I'm on my own now, my house is far from perfect and I often beat myself up about it. But then I tell myself progress over perfection and I feel instantly calmer. Thank you for sharing real life and not a fairy tale designed to make us feel that we're not working hard enough or cleaning enough whilst being super mums at the same time. You're a great role model and should be very proud of yourself.

OMG!! We used those same black and yellow totes for when we moved 3 years ago. Ours was a government move and we were taking what we could before they got there. So in a uhaul trailer we had it loaded it up with a queen size bed. A recliner chairs and several of the totes which we had our dishes, glasses and some of our kitchen appliances, slow cooker, instance pot, rice cooker, blender. Because we knew it was going to be a while before the rest of our stuff would arrive. This totes are a life saver. We use them now for storage of things and we put a shop ticket holder on the outside of it with an inventory so we know exactly what's in it. Works great for organizing seasonal decor.
Family of 9 with 2 teen boys, 2 pre teen boys, and 1 pre teen gal... my heart sympathizes with ya for sure! 2 are away for the week and my grocery bill was still as high as usual, lol. I so enjoy your mom vlogs. Definitely nice to see other large families and how daily life is comparable and nothing to get too hard on myself over. Anxiety. School struggles. Life struggles. Silly/fun moments. Thank you for your vulnerability.

3 teenage boys here and I thought I was the only one whose teenager ate like that. Last night we had chili for dinner. My oldest ate 3 bowls. That was at 7pm. At 11pm he made a crap ton of pizza rolls for a bedtime snack in the air fryer. Like seriously. The night before he ate 3 bowls of cereal for a snack and a few handfuls of Chicago style mixed popcorn.
Your such a busy mom, but I know you enjoy it, because like me, and my mother, it’s such a great feeling to see how clean, neat, and how you can smell the clean. I mother would tell me it’s my therapy, and it is. If my home is messed I get real nervous and on the crabby side. So thumbs up to you.

Sure enough they'd be at the door waiting and unpack everything and then make dagwood sandwiches and drink a gallon of milk. I've seen it. She'd say I gotta go back to the store. They just ate a pound and half of lunch meat, all the cheese, and all the milk. And your dad wants to know why the grocery bill is so high.. They ate everything in sight and didn't gain a pound.
So sorry for your loss. Cherish the memories and the legacy she has left behind. Boys will eat like that...but there will be a time when he moves out to go to college and gets a place of his own. When he starts buying his own groceries then he will change because he will be invested with the cost of groceries. My son played 3 sports during HS and could pack the food away. When he moved out my grocery bill was 2/3 less with 3 of us at home instead of 4.

Set a timer to work on it 30 minutes every night? My Mom must be bored bc she knits her own socks! I've been donating items to the Vets in the nursing home so they don't feel like no one cares about them... I haven't had time to work on hobbies for several years now. Hopefully soon I will be able to get back to my crochet, knitting and sewing.
I bought Dollar Tree placemats to set on my fridge shelves....keeps your shelves clean and you just have to throw the placemats in the wash every couple of weeks ❤

Teenage boys, I only had one, but our house was one where all were welcomed. But at that time, my hubby was still alive, and two incomes helped. Now I have an empty nest, but two of my children are close. My daughter always opens cabinets to see what I have to snack on! My son opens the refrigerator to see that I'm not just eating junk! My three year old granddaughter knows where to find the apple juice and goldfish!! I've lived in my house one year and have only slept in my bed three times. I throw things on the bed to get them out of the main living space.
I’ve got 2 teen boys and I’m with you! Our grocery bill is $300 a week!!!! I also have a 7 yr old boy and a 3 yr old girl, plus me and the hubs. It’s crazy the amount of food we go through each week!
The key to the bread keeper is you put the store bought in the bag bread 🍞 in it with the plastic bag folded over the sides and continue to pull it down as you get slices of bread out, so as to keep the bread at the top and as much air as possible out….. I have had many LoL 😂 and never really worked for homemade bread 🍞…. lol 😆

Like 12 tacos at dinner and come back later for more. I can relate. Although, I don’t know where it all goes, they were all so slender.
What town is the wax melt place again?? Teenage boys who are super active and play sports need the fuel. When mine was a teenager, I went through so much food, he literally ate us out of house and home as they say. Then add his five best friends and I would spend $300 on a weekend of meals and snacks for them. As parents we used to rotate houses with the boys on the weekends to help share the cost!
Love the long videos...it gives me more motivation to tackle more things...instead of only one thing here and there. I try to multi task during my videos too.
an easy way to do corn that keeps it nice and fresh and crispy is to wrap each ear in a damp paper towel after it's been husked of course, and microwave for 3 minutes just perfect

Ya I wouldn’t sit there and scrub my fridge. I take out my shelves and put them in the dishwasher. Ps usually top racks are able to come out.

Teenage boys, I only had one, but our house was one where all were welcomed. But at that time, my hubby was still alive, and two incomes helped. Now I have an empty nest, but two of my children are close. My daughter always opens cabinets to see what I have to snack on! My son opens the refrigerator to see that I'm not just eating junk! My three year old granddaughter knows where to find the apple juice and goldfish!! I've lived in my house one year and have only slept in my bed three times. I throw things on the bed to get them out of the main living space.
I’ve got 2 teen boys and I’m with you! Our grocery bill is $300 a week!!!! I also have a 7 yr old boy and a 3 yr old girl, plus me and the hubs. It’s crazy the amount of food we go through each week!

The key to the bread keeper is you put the store bought in the bag bread 🍞 in it with the plastic bag folded over the sides and continue to pull it down as you get slices of bread out, so as to keep the bread at the top and as much air as possible out….. I have had many LoL 😂 and never really worked for homemade bread 🍞…. lol 😆

I'am glad that your home and I hope your husband makes it home soon too. I'am also so very sorry to hear of your Grandma's passing 😞 And since I have raised teenage boys (now adults and on their own with families of their own) I remember how much these 2 boys ate. I almost swear that all my paycheck (Retired Nurse) went for Bill's and food.
When i clean my fridge, i take everything out (shelves, drawers etc.) That will come out n wash it in the bathtub.

Glad you guys had a great vacation, well deserved. Sorry to hear about grandmas passing ☹️ I have four boys, three of them were teenagers at once and very active in sports and would eat SO MUCH!! Like 12 tacos at dinner and come back later for more. I can relate. Although, I don’t know where it all goes, they were all so slender.
I always think your nails are so cute. I can't get fake nails for more than 2 sets even gel because my nail beds are semsative.

Teenage boys who are super active and play sports need the fuel. When mine was a teenager, I went through so much food, he literally ate us out of house and home as they say. Then add his five best friends and I would spend $300 on a weekend of meals and snacks for them. As parents we used to rotate houses with the boys on the weekends to help share the cost!

an easy way to do corn that keeps it nice and fresh and crispy is to wrap each ear in a damp paper towel after it's been husked of course, and microwave for 3 minutes just perfect

I feel you on the feeding 2 teenage boys. Mine are 15 and 16 and they eat like that.
I have 3. 18,15,and 13. Yes they eat me out of house and home. Sometimes I'd rather cloth them the feed them lol

Hi I’ve been watching your videos for sometime now and I just got a new refrigerator yesterday and I am watching your videos a day and realize it’s the same refrigerator LOL but the glass on the shelf is easy to remove if you push up from the bottom and kind of push back it’ll pop out without you having to remove that whole middle piece just thought I would share that
