Throughout my teaching career, I have watched multiple former students successfully complete courses at a community college and then transfer to a 4-year institution. They saved thousands of dollars and were plenty prepared for their future careers!
As somebody like me who is working on getting their general education out of the way while still in high school, if I finish all the GE requirements do I still need to attend a community college? Or can I go straight into a 4-year college/university?

You can go to a 4-year. Some people also do community for 1 year instead of 2.

It’s not for everyone. It definitely helps some people. With COVID, lots of classes have pivoted to virtual.
