This is officially my PABORITONG paborito episode, the atmosphere, the hustle and bustle and of course the FOOD!!! Grabe I feel like this is THE GOAT episode talaga 💯
Jessica seems like more Pinoy than any other filipino youtuber/content creator. The way she explores the culture and interacts with people around her is really entertaining and I love it...
Jessica is the tourism representative we need. In my opinion she really introduced Filipino places, food, culture really well.
I can say that Jessica Lee is definitely an influencer that introduces Philippine Culture in a sense that it is relatable and with no bias at all. Had been binge watching her videos for 3 weeks na. Hoping to have more provincial video featuring their own cuisines.
I love this!!! Great piece!!! Jessica's down to earth self is clearly seen, the walk in crowded spaces, the eating in the street, giving hopia to the street boy, the make shift table! Also your confidence has overtaken your shyness! just dont spill the food next time😂😅😊 Salamat Jessica and your team! Very well done!!!
14:27 *JESSICA* :"it's okay na. Ipis lang, ipis lang." Hahaha Ang cute🥰 Ung sanay na sanay na si Jessica sa mga nakakatakot(?) na insects (ipis) dito sa pinas💕💙💕
One more thing i like about Jessica, binabagay nya talaga yung styling/makeup niya sa pupuntahan niya. And she doesn’t seem to care kahit pawis na siya or medyo magulo na yung hair niya… and that’s good coz we could really see what she went through while traversing the streets. For me, that’s a good characteristic of a vlogger/content creator. Real na real and it complements her stories/story-telling.
Your style of doing food reviews is amazing; it's very genuine and non-smg. A lot of food vloggers I watched before are like this, but right now the genuine feeling when they are eating food is gone. I hope yours will stay intact! Have a safe day always, and I'm a fan from idol school! Hehehe, I watched all of EP, and I recognized you here on TH-cam! Good luck, and may the Good Lord Bless you!
I have to say, I like your Paborito series a lot, but with this one, I am not so happy.. You tried a lot of great things, yes - but one of the most defining places, especially food-wise, is the muslim quarter of Manila! At least for me this is one of the things I think of when I think of Quiapo. The things you can eat there, you dont get everywhere else Manila, and its really different - so often in Paborito, it continues with the 100th Sisig, Adobo, Chicken Wing, Halo-Halo.. I am sure you want to try something new, unique and sarap. The malaysian-muslim-style food you get there, is really masarap. Arab Asian Resto Cafe is a great start, but to be honest I never had one bad meal in this area. They all can cook very well
A palengke mukbang is not a bad idea...you should definitely do it. Because some towns have their specialties as well and the place you'll definitely find it will be in the palengke where all the action is. I've watched Foodie Mama PH, and she did a real good job of Marikina. And with the dragon fruit...i think you need to find a quality one or know someone who can pick the fresh fruit at the perfect ripeness for you to try. LOL and I also agree, I think the commercial food like in BGC like you stated is overly seasoned....it's like a battle of which restaurant uses the most magic sarap/msg LOL. So I totally understand where people are coming from when they say Filipino food is too salty and/or too sweet....It's all about umami nowadays and less about balance. I know that rice is used to counterbalance it but sometimes the ulam is a bit too much in terms of MSG factor or sugar lol. No wonder cardiovascular disease and diabetes are the number one causes of mortality and morbidity there. Thanks again for another quality video.
One thing that I loved about her is that she is nit shy to talk with strangers. More power Jessica!
So love how you really immerse deep down to the roots of our, i can very much say for you as well, Filipino culture & heritage. I’m loving every content you create with so much passion and we can see your real appreciation through and through. We PINOYS love you Jessica! Keep on spreading pinoy food love and this makes us want to learn your roots as well! ❤❤❤
This is one of the reasons why I subscribed to this Channel, it's relatable and realistic content. This is the kind of vlogger we should be watching hindi yung vloggers na puro pa cute at pa twitams lng. What's more impressive walng ka arte2x c Jessica going to places like this at kahit sobrang crowded. Kudos po!!!
I'm a silent fan of Ate Jessica, and I really love her reaction in this PABORITO series. Like, every Pinoy tell her an exciting words like, "Masarap! Sobrang Masarap! Tatak Pinoy ang lasa" it makes me amaze, like how Korean citizen will enjoy our culture. She's more known now as a Filipino citizen, not by a heart but also a Filiino influencer that will truly expand more our culture. Thank you Ate Jessica for trying and spreading some unknowns culture of our country!! Keep safe always! 🤟🏻
I have been binge watching this series, and I must say that I became really addicted to this channel as well as to the vibes of Jessica!! Personally, this episode is my favourite. It highlights the food gems and improvements in Quiapo. Makes you wanna be involved in the food and culture of Quiapo. 😊💗
@jessica, I'm an avid fan for years now but I don't always comment on your vids, I don't forget to like it though 😊 However, in this video, probably, this is the closest to perfection you can get, from the comedy bits, the editing, the ipis, the candidness, the people you interviewed, their recommendation and how they were able to elaborate why they recommended it. (Maybe not so much for the ate who sold you the juice but it was still funny how honest she was) Everything was awesome❤❤❤ More videos like this please ❤❤❤
Keep up the good wok Jessica, thank you for showing us the true taste of the foods in Quiapo and comparing how it taste to a different food. Unlike the other vloggers, they always commend the food that they vlog and not saying the true taste. The best scene is "Merinderia" will add it to my dictionary "Miryenda + Karinderia"
Jessica's vlog deserve millions and millions of views. Its very entertaining, refreshing, knowledgeable, cute and we're learning a lot of new things, around metro and other places.
you hit my go to place Jess, from aling waway sotanghon, dragon fruit, etc.Jessica is right its crowded but that makes quiapo and walking around quiapo interesting. From small stuff or anik anik that you wanted to buy, electronics stuff, cellphone stuff and accessories quiapo is my goto place.Good job Jess blending with the crowd is pretty tough specially if your new in quiapo. God bless and stay safe.
I passed by Quiapo every day for years because I used to work in Malacanang, but I never had the courage to try the food featured here, lalo na yung mga drinks because I don't know how they are prepared. But watching this video is making me want to try them. Great job, Jessica. I love your food reviews because you have a talent in describing flavors and you give honest feedback. Keep it up!
a buko fresh cut from a cart vendor, a hard boiled egg, a couple pancakes, or fresh baked pandesal, handful of unsalted peanuts, cassava cake, steamed bell pepper and of course , lechon manok - all from the street... for good health, po. Call it a day
Jessica... I'm so proud of you really doing the hustle n' bustle of being content creator in frickin' Manila! #Paborito 👑 your reaction and really the people recommendations are really, really good! ✨👌
There are still A LOT of places left in Quiapo! You should give it another go! Haven't tried Globe Lumpiang Sariwa, Jolly Dada's Pansit Palabok & Dinuguan, Pastil in Muslim Community as well!
Hi Jessica, nice you visited that part of Quiapo but how I wished if you just had a glimpse of the famous BLACK NAZARENE inside the church and it is jampacked every Friday with devoted worshipers. Sayang that "R. MA MUN LOK" trestaurant has closed several years back but it really has the best MAMI in town and you should gone to RAMON LEE's Panceteria where the best "pancit" that you can taste in Manila! There a lot of good restaurants around metro manila like Savory, Max's, Little Quiapo, Ariscrat and more. You just have to research it online. Salamat Jessica for this episode and have a great day!
Jessica I love how you embrace Filipino culture, the food the people the place, it's really ironic that a foreigner really loves our country, mabuhay ka Jessica hope we can met someday and say thank you to you personally.

It's also nice because I am also Korean born, but grew up in the U.S.A. and it's nice to hear another Korean speak English as well as me, with no accent lol.... and to hear the Korean take on Filipino food. I look forward to see all of your other videos in your series. Keep up the good work.

Hi jessica! I hope you try the sauces of food next time, it gives a whole new experience and taste. And sometimes, it is a really important component of a dish.
Jessica has promoted Filipino culture and food more than most of our local vloggers. She’s truly Filipino at heart and we love her for that.

Tama.. 😅😅😅 Like longganisa 😅😅😅
She even promotes it more than the Philippines Department of tourism, who is now busy spending a king's ransom on a lousy slogan.
