Do not put back the two bolts behind the cover, I never put them back and I can change my spark plugs easily. If you remember the VW Beatle, it had 4 bolts to attach the motor to the transmition, one of them was so hard to put or take off that nobody put that 4th bolt back. Regards from Mexico
I own the thing and its ridiculous in so many ways.. as in things like having to jack the car up and removing the wheel just to access the battery, this car is like a bad joke they decided to play on people lol
I finally just had to get rid of it about 4 or 5 months ago. Lol I couldn't take it anymore. I deliver the mail in a 02 Sierra 1500 and it's so so so much easier to work on when it needs something done!
That first thing that you keep saying is an O2 sensor is a Exhaust gas recirculation tube, it connects to the EGR valve somewheres. It circulates exhaust back into the intake to lower emissions. Once you’ve got all the bolts out you slide the manifold towards the passenger side off of it, or remove the studs on the intake manifold holding it after removing the 8mms
