- This is an impressive piece! Double Barrel from Mad Ox is a 2" NOAB that features double breaks in each shot! We had a case of two pieces, so I decided to light them both at close to the same time. I was out of e-match when I did this video, so I used consumer igniters and had a slight starting variance. The height, symmetrical breaks, and the fact these were double breaks was all impressive!

Both breaks looked huge!! and just broke beautifully! I was giving up on cannister double breaks, and was going to skip the NOABs too and just do ball shells when I wanted doubles... These changed my mind!

@@FrankBroughtonNY Frank! it's been awhile, hope you're well. Yeah, I can get a case of these for $90 ish which is much cheaper than other NOABs. They break harder and are more symmetrical than consumer ball shells.
@@FrankBroughtonNY depends on where you are purchasing. I bought a case of these for $77 + $9 shipping so $86 total. For $43 it’s hard to beat. They go higher and break harder than any ball shell I have shot and most canister shells.

WHOA!! now 2 of those together for that 36 shots was AWESOME!! huge beaks for that size and the colors were bright! 3 cases of those would be an epic finale!!!!
I would love to light three cases of those! Even two cases of these with more space between and further back for recording would be great. I was 200' away in this video and felt way too close haha

@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics hits harder than you would think especially given the size and the fact it’s a double break. And by the way, I love the slight ignition offset that may have happened by accident. Resulted in non-stop massive breaks for 30 seconds. I may need to put a 0.5 sec delay when I shoot these in pairs the next time. Of course it’s rare that two cakes fire at the exact time anyways even if that is what the script calls for.
@@TMonday0056 Right, that is also why I was so impressed by these too. This video was also recorded at my standard 220' away, so it did a great job filling the sky at that distance. Yeah, totally unintentional on the ignition haha, but you're right about the random offset they would likely have anyway. I bet four of these all at the same time would be perfect!

Yeah, they are super solid. It has peanut ball shells inside.
2 inch noabs do just as good as the so called 3inch and are lower in price
A lot of 3" NOABs have smaller breaks in them is why.
Would be better either all crackle or no crackle. Wish they'd stop with this "touch of crackle" nonsense. It's like putting ketchup on ice cream.
