Joel I've never seen anyone so meticulous about everything! The placement of the stars to the centering of the burst charge and the precise cutting of time fuse to the thousandth's of an inch! And on and on! If there's a tool for something he's got it. It sure shows in his work!
Oh I know right! I really love Tom's work, but also completely admire him as a person. If you ever have a question, he is more than happy to answer them.
I absolutely agree with you! I have been to many events over the years and seen many shows, but I always remember when Tom does rockets! They are the highlight of any event for me.
I'm glad you did! Tom is an open book. I have listened to him talk about his rocket building, show off the construction and more watch him shoot of so many rockets! It is always a pleasure any time I can hear him talk about his work. The best part, he is very happy to share the information!

LOL! There he is! For anyone that doesn't know, Adam here was one of the ones chatting with me at the end of the video. I found the commentary hilarious as it was randomly throughout the 30+ minutes of the rockets going off.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics Fun Times - Glad we got to hang out. I think NEXT year - we need to EITHER make it a drinking game or put money down whether a shell is going to be a REALLY Bright Ass Salute!

his blues are to die for, such colour saturation-amazing
Truly a master class in building rocket's. A legend and master at his finest!
Truly a pyro genius. He is years ahead of most rocket makers in the world, truly a delight to watch hus work.

Hands down, seriously it's always a joy seeing his work.

It's because we normally do not think of rockets like these!

Have you heard if pgi is coming back to Newton next year
I don't think we will know for sure for a few more weeks. It sure sounded like Newton again was at the top of the list though.
I would be good with that. I'm from north central iowa and I wasn't able to go this year

It was pretty epic too!
