Ik this is a small detail, but many animes don't focus on physics and rather focus on hype, but I like how horekoshi said they didn't hear the sound until after shigaraki went flying, indicating each of deku punches are above sound speed. Its like when lightning strikes the ground. You don't hear the sound until after the attack, since light>sound speed. I just thought it was really cool detail since many other animes don't do that, Example one piece, naruto, dragon ball etc...
Lightning and thunder happen at the same time. But you see lightning before you hear thunder because light, which travels a million times faster than sound, arrives almost instantly. Sound, on the other hand, takes about five seconds to travel one mile
Nana seeing her son and then saying to deku that he is still there was too disturbing. But I agree with both nana and mirio for the fact that he is truly still in there,somewhere. also I like that deku is referring to him as afo and not shigaraki or tenko,he knows that he needs to defeat afo and that afo is his actual enemy and threat.

This quirk effectively makes him a human railgun. If he can slow things down or shift the speed back and forth at will this quirk could be one of the best supports in the series.

2nd user's Quirk seems like a nice compliment to Uraraka's -- hers suspending touched items/people, the 2nd's altering the speed of touched items/people
I don't think Monoma's quirk works like that. The effect of erasure should be there till the user blinks, no matter whether or not the opponent is still visible.
Season 7 won’t premiere 2023 cause Season 6 is started today October 2022 & it will end either end of March 2023 or April 2023 & Season 7 will premiere spring 2024 just like Season 5 premiere spring 2021

This was a fun chapter no question. But I’m at the juncture where I’m ready to move to another fight now. There’s like 6 happening and I want to see what’s happening to Uraraka, to Todoroki (less important since we know Dabi is on his way to Endeavor), how Aoyama is faring against the new assassin with Fat Gum, and I ESPECIALLY want to see Spinner’s efforts into breaking out more criminals, which we know he succeeds in if Mr. Compress has a big moment. And there’s even more like AFO’s Benjamin Button situation. I’m SO happy to see Deku in this battle, even if the battle has yet to begin so long as Monoma doesn’t blink. And considering what happened today, not even mad he didn’t blink. This chapter was like 4 seconds in real time of this show. One of my favorite details of AFS at this point is just how different Shigaraki, AFO, and Tenko are. 2 of them SEEM fused but in all honesty, he’s had MULTIPLE moments when I see the divide in that too. At least in headspace. 3 vestiges in conflict. And that’s his weakness. Scare AFO but not Shigaraki, Shigaraki is confused as hell. Anger Shigaraki and not AFO, AFO is the one confused. Call out Tenko? EVERYTHING stops so he can say he’s been a GOOD BOY. Which I still laugh when I think of how hilariously awkward that moment was. But I do LOVE the design of this AFS form. There’s no question of that. When he declares Deku won’t get a happy ending I LOVE that up close of him. The body is ready. The mind is not at ALL. Which Mirio even noticed was incredibly divided. But having Nana point out her grandson’s presence was AWESOME, as if the other vestiges are giving THEIR shot at trying Deku’s empathy tricks. The vestiges keeping in touch respecting Deku’s eagerness is in such stark contrast especially since THEY had a conflict issue during the rogue arc too. (Which is concerning considering Deku’s VERY noticeably empty eyes. And that deterioration is just TERRIFYING.) We FINALLY got a move I’m comfortable saying is actually comparable to All-Might Prime. And unlike the rest of this fight, yeah the damage is equatable. Bakugo rocketed out a blast I’d say is either half as strong or just as strong as All-Might’s city destroyer in season 2 when he battled Deku and Bakugo for finals. But this hulk smash completely tipping the entire island out of balance is VERY much just what we can assume is comparable to the man at his best. Still can’t say Deku is at that point yet, because danger sense might just be able to let him respond to things with a wide power gap. (AFS is still trying to break Deku’s spine while he waits to regain his quirks.) The quirks are just all over the place with OFA. Fa Jin, new Blackwhip move and then…there’s the 2nd quirk. Transmission. We got multiple gears of forcing his power to the next level, and I’m just SO fascinated how this works. Is it an emergency increase of stockpile? Is it packing in energy Deku hasn’t unlocked yet? How does each gear work? And while we might all be hyped as all heck for this…let’s not forget. There’s a recoil and a BAD one for it to be saved til now. And Fa Jin’s recoil ruins parallel processing. And every quirk is better with OFA, but so too is the recoil. And again…AFS is still not using quirks. I’m not even REMOTELY convinced this is even close to over, and honestly, still not sure if this is the final phase of the battle. We got a ways to go and I can’t wait to see what’s next. It really is time to move on to another fight though. We can’t lean too far into the main fight. We gotta get to work on everyone else’s progress. And I am just loving this.
I also want to go back to the Spinner fight for 2 reason: 1- I want Koda and Shoji to finaly have a moment to shine, since this two (who are respectivly my favorite and my third favorite students) barely had anything before that, especialy Koda. 2- I want to see Spinner meet Stain (who is still somewhere) and realise that his idol was never in the league to begin with.
I also can’t wait to see how Uraraka & Tsu will handle Toga bringing Twice’s back from the dead & both will unleash a new combo moves like Uraraka will think an new wires move or meteor but Gunhead Martial Arts will be her final move to defeat Toga & Tsu’s new combo move will be like Surf 🏄♀️ since they’re at the Okuto Island & she will use her tongue & finally name her move called Froppy Style & Shoto will try to stop Dabi for going after Endeavor even in his worst condition after their fight & possible will have a round 2 & this Dabi will officially unleash Prominence Burn since it was interrupted by Best Jeanist on the first war & with AFO rewind back in his prime form he will ends his fight against Endeavor & Hawks & decides to go join forces with Shigaraki by fully merged with him & go after Deku to make his fight even worst harder that he won’t be able to destroy him on time but Deku won’t give up & let that happen

I'm actually satisfied with this quirk reveal. I love that all of Deku's quirks were originally fairly minor and are only at the level of power they are because of the boost from OFA. The only one of his quirks that I feel could have been something cooler or more interesting was Smokescreen.
Thing is If he can merge Quirks like he did with Fa Gin and Black Whip to make a chain. In Theory he could do the same with Smokescreen making a makeshift gothic Green Lantern Ring power.
Smokescreen is more reserved to stealth as opposed to attack (shown in the first chapters of the vigilante Deku arc) so I think it's fine if not all of his quirks are flashy, after all heroes also need to do stealth missions and he can also combo it with danger sense too
Speed force ? The fck you talk about Deku is not even FTL. Speed force has immensurable speed it's beyond time and space. Deku cannot even beat Dressrosa luffy.
Ya know now that you mentioned and showed a specific clip of Aizawa and Shigs during the USJ incident, I can kinda see how this fight mirrors All might vs Nomu during that time, I mean if you look at it this way AFS is the new Nomu designed to kill Deku yet, when he arrives Deku wasn't there just like how it was during the USJ. And just like the USJ, AFS absolutely struck terror to those around him and caused alotta trouble. Now when Deku starts smacking AFS, you can see some resemblance to All Mights moves on the Nomu so yeah this all the more confirms that Horikoshi loves backtracing
The second's quirk is a very dangerous one indeed. Just imagine increasing the speed of the villain to the point that he does not even know his surroundings. But I believe that an assassin type quirk would help deku more (to hide his aura for example) as assassin skills can be pretty useful in those kind of battles.
I was hoping that the Gear Shift is like the esper ability of Accelerator (from To Aru series and his VA is the same as Bakugo's), which is Vector Manipulation. But this is acceptable.
Unless deku loses all the quirks he has honestly he’s going to be completely unstoppable after this war… this is insane not even all might had this type of power. Speaking of all might why exactly didn’t he have access to any other quirks..? And why didn’t the other users talk to him much..? Is it because they didn’t feel like he was going to end it all? Why is deku different in so many ways with one for all?
Deku is yet to emulate anything relatively close to All Mights underpowerrd United States of Smash. So he is not there yet. As to why All Might wasnt using the other quirka. It is said he wasnt aware of this. And that i guess he does not have that strong of a connection with the vestiges since he rarely gets into a life and death situation. Unlike deku who experiences that every other day.

they stated that the power wasn’t evolved enough for all might to see the vestiges. When deku got the quirk that’s when ofa evolved enough to be able to talk to them that’s also why he could use their powers. Also it should be noted that shigaraki is an all might prime level threat confirmed by everyone and we see that in this fight he couldn’t even see deku which kinda shows the power scaling. So saying deku isn’t close to prime all might isn’t correct imo
If the physics of this are as I suspect, then between his mega strength and Overdrive Deku can combo them to create enough force an velocity to punch AFO up to escape velocity and literally send him into orbit. Unless he can pull an adaptation to breath vacuum or survive re-entry, AFO gonna have a real bad day.
I say that the second user quirk is a phenomenal quirk. Having the ability to go into higher speeds and surpassing the speed of sound just speaks for itself how broken the 2nd user quirk is. What do you guys think of his quirk
Honestly I like the second users quirk all of the quirks deku has despite black whip seemed to be support powers and this one really helps it stand out black whip might be the main quirk he has to combine all others together
I'm a little disappointed that our theories are a bit dashed because of the reveal of his Quirk. However interested at what are the bad sides to this Quirk. Because how the 2nd made Deku save it for last sounds a bit dangerous, if not fatal.
I think the part where the 2nd user says "this world will be doomed" might not be for shigaraki, I think it might refer to Deku destroying the world kind of thing. If Deku becomes faster when there are more gears, imagine what would happen if this 2nd quirk is combined with fajin for a ultimate? Ngl, E = mc^2 might apply here since fajin would be the 'm' and 'c2' would be the speed which would probably be like a nuclear explosion. This might be a overstretch but this is all just my opinion lol

Seems the finishing blow is gonna have to come from a combination of all the quirks. Using float and black to create a slingshot with fajin as the launch mechanism and the 2nds quirk to increase the speed to the maximum with another fajin on impact for a plus ultra 1000% United States of Smash. That's quite literally the only thing I could see putting All for Shigaraki down long enough to try and reach the subconscious Tomura
what would be cool is if Deku's time limit was extended to years because he approaches relativistic speeds, which slows down time passing for him as percieved outside his reference frame.
Finally, the second user's quirk! I'm sort of in the fence with it since it's just a speed quirk, but I guess it's cool if used in conjunction with the other quirks of OFA. Also, as always I love the whole astral projection thing that Horikoshi does with the spirits of OFA.
I don't have any proof for this, but I swear: when I was developping a self-insert for MHA, the Quirk that I wanted to give them was an ability I thought of years ago and it's the 2nds Quirk. I can't remember what I called it, but the mechanics was that you could manipulate the Kinetic Energy (speed) of anything you touch (either increase or decrease), and it would work on your body. The main weapon would have been a chain with a kunai at one end and a blunt weight at the other, used for combat and even travelling (throw the weight at top speed, let yourself be pulled by it, reel it in, then repeat). And the fighting style would be based around quick short bursts of speed empowered hits, or being able to move your opponents around the battlefield. Trip them up, and while they're moving/falling in a direction, increase the speed to have them pushed into a wall or the ground. It was very fun to imagine this kind of fighting style and to see it now drawn on a panel is breathtaking I can't express how hyped I feel seeing this reveal. I have no words
I sense monama or aizawa's death soon enough. From the story's standpoint since given "5 minutes" time limit something big is about to happen. Either AFO emerges victorious over Endeavour-hawks battle or kurogiri comes out either killing or making erasure not usable. From a story's standpoint, Second user said time and time again to use his quirk as a last resort. Deku went and started using it. So when that time ends it's either Deku gonna be juiced down or toyed by TomurAFO with use of his quirks, so that Bakugo will be able to comeback and shine. I think that's why Horikoshi made Bakugo die and comeback and set a time limit for second's quirk
I love the name 2nd Transmission i think its a good quirk and rounds out the rest very nicely but i want to see the drawbacks considering it was a last resort
I feel like this quirk will be one of those quirks where once it’s purpose is achieved, like defeating All for one, it’ll be disappear and deku will be quirkless again like all might. Something poetic like that
The reason the 2nd user gave him this quirk last is because it permanently accelerates the degeneration of the user’s body just as much as it allows them to manipulate their output. So it’s essentially a sacrificial quirk. Basically a controlled nuclear reactor. Notice how the 2nd user is so weary of the quirk and also has not spoke on what happens when you push it to it’s limit. And what happens when a nuclear/fusion reactor goes out of control? It destroys itself and you can’t stop the meltdown process. With that established, I’m calling it that deku ends up permanently crippled similar to might guy because he pushed the quirk to maximum in order to defeat shigaraki/ofa. Considering that ofa and afo cannot exist without the other in reality, the quirk regardless will leave deku’s body . Yet again ultimately leaving him quirkless aside the cripple. That’s why when we hear deku telling the story from past tense, he says “how I became the #1 hero” not how I am the #1. Todoroki and bakugo will be the #1 heroes. Yet deku will hold the most respect within their gen due to his sacrifice. Everyone seems to think they’ll be able to reverse the damage, but we already know the damage inflicted by ofa/afo itself cannot be healed. Hence all might’s permanent loss In power even while still holding ofa before passing it on to deku. Deku himself is the show’s running theme. Obtaining power to protect the world despite the odds, yet has to sacrifice everything he gained in doing so to become that. In other words, he stops shiggy. But stops his own future as a hero just like all might. But it’ll be worse then all might’s loss because he won’t retain the quirk at all. He’ll go back to a normal human teen with no quirk, yet crippled by the world’s strongest quirk that he once had.
It’s a pretty good theory, but when he says “How I became the no. 1 hero”, it could mean two things. For one thing, if your theory is correct, then he won’t have a chance to even become a hero because the blowback of something that powerful will come ASAP, meaning right after the fight. Something has to happen in order for him to even finish school at UA with a quirk and become a hero for at least a short while. The other thing is that it could mean he still is a hero because he never said he stopped. Also, when you get hurt, you heal and become lot stronger, and Deku has gotten hurt a lot. He most likely will have permanent damage, but he probably will become the no. 1 hero. Love the Harry Potter reference, but I don’t think it’s necessarily true that both quirks rely on each other. In Harry Potter, if they both lived they would just keep fighting until there’s a winner. In here, AFO takes quirks but doesn’t have to be evil - its user is just corrupt, whereas OFA had good users that fought ALL crime, not just AFO. The OG people may have been blood related, and the quirk is passed on by DNA, but OFA was never really connected to AFO. He just took a strength/speed enhancing quirk and gave it to his brother. So the quirks aren’t connected.
I reckon the time limit the 2nd user gave Deku was more so becuase the quirk was being used on Deku himself more then anything, since we know for a fact he's moving faster the the speed of sound at minimum, thats got to do some serious damage to the body, damage that might only be healable with rewind.

My theory is similar to Adrenaline. As deku uses transmission, he cannot go back in gears…. Meaning. He will burn through his energy very quickly. Much like how recovery girl works.
Right hearing 2nd user quirk, I got bit confused straight up on how can it related with bakugou, but then the panels shows that's quirk help the user moved metal faster than the speed of the sound, that click me where there certain moment the characters in anime/manga do say that bakugou is actually very fast

I'm not sure how this one works yet.. I like to think of it like deku controlling vectors and changing the speed+force of anything he touches by a large margin.. needless to say if that's the case he can go beyond FTS.

It is fascinating. It can be used in a multitude of ways. One example is being able to travel around the world, knocking out villain after villain, and being the #1 hero in the world.
When the 1st one for all user; AFO’s brother- said “todays the day” it reminded me of the dead kids in the ‘Black Phone’ movie. Infact all of the one for all users remind me of them as they pretty much serve the same purpose

Now that we know what the 2nd one for all user's quirk is, the gauntlets he used were probably used as more like the barrel of a gun for accuracy more then anything so he would shoot out small objects such as nails and rocks
The sound is always delayed though, since light travels faster. Assuming they are 113 meters away it would already take a third of a second to reach the observer. At 340 meters it would be a full second.
That's not Tenko we saw in AFO world held by AFO, it's SHIGARAKI TOMURA with his short white hair (Tenko is smaller and has black hair), it's Shigaraki's same look from the previous war, probably our first look at Shigaraki since S&S fight inside AFO world
Man it's Amazing how Izuku Got so Overpowered having more than one Quirk/Superpower with OFA in a span of one year like how Tomura became so Powerful from a low level thug to a world level threat with AFO being back in his prime Now. I really can't wait to see how all of this Ends.
Tomura was never a low level thug tho, his quirk before awakened could be quite literally used to defeat someone like Goku if he had the chance and time
So basically the Second Users quirk is like New Order in a sense but to only be limited to touch/speed and Adjustments. Either way this quirk added with the other quirks make Deku the strongest Hero. Thus he’s stronger than almighty in his prime days 💪🏾. My Guy haven’t even mastered everything yet he got way more to go and grow.
My prediction... Deku might overload and slip up parallel processing his quirks, releasing smokescreen. Causing monama and eraser head to lose sight...and boom shiggy(afo) heals up and gets stamina back to turn the tables... Im basing this off one of the panels showing smoke leaking out of deku's fist without him noticing
It's actually pretty much hypersonic considering the range in which mirio is compared to Deku. It's more akin to a thunderclap than a supersonic jet (the former obviously being much faster)
So about that 120 percent thing. So what I am guessing is the combination of regular 100 percent(the one the increases his strength and speed)plus the max use of his quirks. But I still have a few questions, like how long can he hold this for, can his quirks stop working or be overused, and can he just tap into the form?
Quick reminder that Deku doesn't actually use 100%, he uses a fake one with Fa-Jin because it's basically "the same thing" and doesn't hurt his body, so in a way, Deku still has 55% of OFA left to master, which means if he truly went 100%, not only would he have a 55% bonus from Fa-Jin, but transmission would give him another 20%, which means if Deku goes truly berserk against Shigaraki/All for One, he'll be basically using 175% of his power, and that's completely absurd

I love that Deku went from pathetically weak then trained himself to be able to receive one for all. Then he had to fight and train every step of the way to master one for all and each of the quirks.
Deku is literally the perfect candidate for OFA. His knowledge and battle iq… hell his iq in general make him a very VERY dangerous hero against the villains.
I think the seconds Quirk could be compared to Luffys abitlity in one piece. With Gears that Deku has to go through all with different names and increased speeds. Dekus default gear is unkown becuase he’s always in that gear until he starts moving up gears. But he names the Gears as he Progresses through them both being able to use it on himself and anyone he touches/punches. Just like a car it’s bad and damaging to skip gears which is why I think the Second user also had Gears he had to progress through when he had the Quirk becuase he warns Deku about it’s Improper use (Aka skipping gears) and just like a car engine it could be damaging which is why he has to progress through them. It’s also cool to see Deku getting another ability similar to he’s classmates with this quirk being Touch activated like Ochacos lmao not that he basically has her quick already with Float but it’s cool to see that Deku can still apply what he’s learnt from he’s classmates.
Deku really out here using the 8 inner gates and 2nd gear. This is insane

I don't think Monoma's quirk works like that. The effect of erasure should be there till the user blinks, no matter whether or not the opponent is still visible.

This was a fun chapter no question. But I’m at the juncture where I’m ready to move to another fight now. There’s like 6 happening and I want to see what’s happening to Uraraka, to Todoroki (less important since we know Dabi is on his way to Endeavor), how Aoyama is faring against the new assassin with Fat Gum, and I ESPECIALLY want to see Spinner’s efforts into breaking out more criminals, which we know he succeeds in if Mr. Compress has a big moment. And there’s even more like AFO’s Benjamin Button situation. I’m SO happy to see Deku in this battle, even if the battle has yet to begin so long as Monoma doesn’t blink. And considering what happened today, not even mad he didn’t blink. This chapter was like 4 seconds in real time of this show.
One of my favorite details of AFS at this point is just how different Shigaraki, AFO, and Tenko are. 2 of them SEEM fused but in all honesty, he’s had MULTIPLE moments when I see the divide in that too. At least in headspace. 3 vestiges in conflict. And that’s his weakness. Scare AFO but not Shigaraki, Shigaraki is confused as hell. Anger Shigaraki and not AFO, AFO is the one confused. Call out Tenko? EVERYTHING stops so he can say he’s been a GOOD BOY. Which I still laugh when I think of how hilariously awkward that moment was. But I do LOVE the design of this AFS form. There’s no question of that. When he declares Deku won’t get a happy ending I LOVE that up close of him. The body is ready. The mind is not at ALL. Which Mirio even noticed was incredibly divided.
But having Nana point out her grandson’s presence was AWESOME, as if the other vestiges are giving THEIR shot at trying Deku’s empathy tricks. The vestiges keeping in touch respecting Deku’s eagerness is in such stark contrast especially since THEY had a conflict issue during the rogue arc too. (Which is concerning considering Deku’s VERY noticeably empty eyes. And that deterioration is just TERRIFYING.)
We FINALLY got a move I’m comfortable saying is actually comparable to All-Might Prime. And unlike the rest of this fight, yeah the damage is equatable. Bakugo rocketed out a blast I’d say is either half as strong or just as strong as All-Might’s city destroyer in season 2 when he battled Deku and Bakugo for finals. But this hulk smash completely tipping the entire island out of balance is VERY much just what we can assume is comparable to the man at his best. Still can’t say Deku is at that point yet, because danger sense might just be able to let him respond to things with a wide power gap. (AFS is still trying to break Deku’s spine while he waits to regain his quirks.)
The quirks are just all over the place with OFA. Fa Jin, new Blackwhip move and then…there’s the 2nd quirk. Transmission. We got multiple gears of forcing his power to the next level, and I’m just SO fascinated how this works. Is it an emergency increase of stockpile? Is it packing in energy Deku hasn’t unlocked yet? How does each gear work? And while we might all be hyped as all heck for this…let’s not forget. There’s a recoil and a BAD one for it to be saved til now. And Fa Jin’s recoil ruins parallel processing. And every quirk is better with OFA, but so too is the recoil. And again…AFS is still not using quirks. I’m not even REMOTELY convinced this is even close to over, and honestly, still not sure if this is the final phase of the battle.
We got a ways to go and I can’t wait to see what’s next. It really is time to move on to another fight though. We can’t lean too far into the main fight. We gotta get to work on everyone else’s progress. And I am just loving this.

I also want to go back to the Spinner fight for 2 reason:
1- I want Koda and Shoji to finaly have a moment to shine, since this two (who are respectivly my favorite and my third favorite students) barely had anything before that, especialy Koda.
2- I want to see Spinner meet Stain (who is still somewhere) and realise that his idol was never in the league to begin with.
I also can’t wait to see how Uraraka & Tsu will handle Toga bringing Twice’s back from the dead & both will unleash a new combo moves like Uraraka will think an new wires move or meteor but Gunhead Martial Arts will be her final move to defeat Toga & Tsu’s new combo move will be like Surf 🏄♀️ since they’re at the Okuto Island & she will use her tongue & finally name her move called Froppy Style & Shoto will try to stop Dabi for going after Endeavor even in his worst condition after their fight & possible will have a round 2 & this Dabi will officially unleash Prominence Burn since it was interrupted by Best Jeanist on the first war & with AFO rewind back in his prime form he will ends his fight against Endeavor & Hawks & decides to go join forces with Shigaraki by fully merged with him & go after Deku to make his fight even worst harder that he won’t be able to destroy him on time but Deku won’t give up & let that happen

I'm actually satisfied with this quirk reveal. I love that all of Deku's quirks were originally fairly minor and are only at the level of power they are because of the boost from OFA. The only one of his quirks that I feel could have been something cooler or more interesting was Smokescreen.
Thing is If he can merge Quirks like he did with Fa Gin and Black Whip to make a chain. In Theory he could do the same with Smokescreen making a makeshift gothic Green Lantern Ring power.

Smokescreen is more reserved to stealth as opposed to attack (shown in the first chapters of the vigilante Deku arc) so I think it's fine if not all of his quirks are flashy, after all heroes also need to do stealth missions and he can also combo it with danger sense too

Ya know now that you mentioned and showed a specific clip of Aizawa and Shigs during the USJ incident, I can kinda see how this fight mirrors All might vs Nomu during that time, I mean if you look at it this way AFS is the new Nomu designed to kill Deku yet, when he arrives Deku wasn't there just like how it was during the USJ. And just like the USJ, AFS absolutely struck terror to those around him and caused alotta trouble. Now when Deku starts smacking AFS, you can see some resemblance to All Mights moves on the Nomu so yeah this all the more confirms that Horikoshi loves backtracing

The second's quirk is a very dangerous one indeed. Just imagine increasing the speed of the villain to the point that he does not even know his surroundings. But I believe that an assassin type quirk would help deku more (to hide his aura for example) as assassin skills can be pretty useful in those kind of battles.

Unless deku loses all the quirks he has honestly he’s going to be completely unstoppable after this war… this is insane not even all might had this type of power. Deku is yet to emulate anything relatively close to All Mights underpowerrd United States of Smash. So he is not there yet. As to why All Might wasnt using the other quirka. It is said he wasnt aware of this. And that i guess he does not have that strong of a connection with the vestiges since he rarely gets into a life and death situation. Unlike deku who experiences that every other day.

When deku got the quirk that’s when ofa evolved enough to be able to talk to them that’s also why he could use their powers. Also it should be noted that shigaraki is an all might prime level threat confirmed by everyone and we see that in this fight he couldn’t even see deku which kinda shows the power scaling. So saying deku isn’t close to prime all might isn’t correct imo
If the physics of this are as I suspect, then between his mega strength and Overdrive Deku can combo them to create enough force an velocity to punch AFO up to escape velocity and literally send him into orbit. Unless he can pull an adaptation to breath vacuum or survive re-entry, AFO gonna have a real bad day.

I'm a little disappointed that our theories are a bit dashed because of the reveal of his Quirk. However interested at what are the bad sides to this Quirk. Because how the 2nd made Deku save it for last sounds a bit dangerous, if not fatal.
I think the part where the 2nd user says "this world will be doomed" might not be for shigaraki, I think it might refer to Deku destroying the world kind of thing. If Deku becomes faster when there are more gears, imagine what would happen if this 2nd quirk is combined with fajin for a ultimate? Ngl, E = mc^2 might apply here since fajin would be the 'm' and 'c2' would be the speed which would probably be like a nuclear explosion. This might be a overstretch but this is all just my opinion lol

Seems the finishing blow is gonna have to come from a combination of all the quirks. Using float and black to create a slingshot with fajin as the launch mechanism and the 2nds quirk to increase the speed to the maximum with another fajin on impact for a plus ultra 1000% United States of Smash. That's quite literally the only thing I could see putting All for Shigaraki down long enough to try and reach the subconscious Tomura

what would be cool is if Deku's time limit was extended to years because he approaches relativistic speeds, which slows down time passing for him as percieved outside his reference frame.
Finally, the second user's quirk! I'm sort of in the fence with it since it's just a speed quirk, but I guess it's cool if used in conjunction with the other quirks of OFA. Also, as always I love the whole astral projection thing that Horikoshi does with the spirits of OFA.
I don't have any proof for this, but I swear: when I was developping a self-insert for MHA, the Quirk that I wanted to give them was an ability I thought of years ago and it's the 2nds Quirk.
I can't remember what I called it, but the mechanics was that you could manipulate the Kinetic Energy (speed) of anything you touch (either increase or decrease), and it would work on your body.
The main weapon would have been a chain with a kunai at one end and a blunt weight at the other, used for combat and even travelling (throw the weight at top speed, let yourself be pulled by it, reel it in, then repeat). And the fighting style would be based around quick short bursts of speed empowered hits, or being able to move your opponents around the battlefield. Trip them up, and while they're moving/falling in a direction, increase the speed to have them pushed into a wall or the ground. It was very fun to imagine this kind of fighting style and to see it now drawn on a panel is breathtaking

I sense monama or aizawa's death soon enough. From the story's standpoint since given "5 minutes" time limit something big is about to happen. Either AFO emerges victorious over Endeavour-hawks battle or kurogiri comes out either killing or making erasure not usable.
From a story's standpoint, Second user said time and time again to use his quirk as a last resort. Deku went and started using it. So when that time ends it's either Deku gonna be juiced down or toyed by TomurAFO with use of his quirks, so that Bakugo will be able to comeback and shine.
I think that's why Horikoshi made Bakugo die and comeback and set a time limit for second's quirk
I love the name 2nd Transmission i think its a good quirk and rounds out the rest very nicely but i want to see the drawbacks considering it was a last resort
I feel like this quirk will be one of those quirks where once it’s purpose is achieved, like defeating All for one, it’ll be disappear and deku will be quirkless again like all might. Something poetic like that
The reason the 2nd user gave him this quirk last is because it permanently accelerates the degeneration of the user’s body just as much as it allows them to manipulate their output. So it’s essentially a sacrificial quirk. Basically a controlled nuclear reactor. Notice how the 2nd user is so weary of the quirk and also has not spoke on what happens when you push it to it’s limit. And what happens when a nuclear/fusion reactor goes out of control? It destroys itself and you can’t stop the meltdown process.
With that established, I’m calling it that deku ends up permanently crippled similar to might guy because he pushed the quirk to maximum in order to defeat shigaraki/ofa. Considering that ofa and afo cannot exist without the other in reality, the quirk regardless will leave deku’s body . Yet again ultimately leaving him quirkless aside the cripple. That’s why when we hear deku telling the story from past tense, he says “how I became the #1 hero” not how I am the #1. Todoroki and bakugo will be the #1 heroes. Yet deku will hold the most respect within their gen due to his sacrifice.
Everyone seems to think they’ll be able to reverse the damage, but we already know the damage inflicted by ofa/afo itself cannot be healed. Hence all might’s permanent loss In power even while still holding ofa before passing it on to deku. Deku himself is the show’s running theme. Obtaining power to protect the world despite the odds, yet has to sacrifice everything he gained in doing so to become that.
In other words, he stops shiggy. But stops his own future as a hero just like all might. But it’ll be worse then all might’s loss because he won’t retain the quirk at all. He’ll go back to a normal human teen with no quirk, yet crippled by the world’s strongest quirk that he once had.
It’s a pretty good theory, but when he says “How I became the no. 1 hero”, it could mean two things. For one thing, if your theory is correct, then he won’t have a chance to even become a hero because the blowback of something that powerful will come ASAP, meaning right after the fight. Something has to happen in order for him to even finish school at UA with a quirk and become a hero for at least a short while. The other thing is that it could mean he still is a hero because he never said he stopped.
Also, when you get hurt, you heal and become lot stronger, and Deku has gotten hurt a lot. He most likely will have permanent damage, but he probably will become the no. 1 hero.
Love the Harry Potter reference, but I don’t think it’s necessarily true that both quirks rely on each other. In Harry Potter, if they both lived they would just keep fighting until there’s a winner. In here, AFO takes quirks but doesn’t have to be evil - its user is just corrupt, whereas OFA had good users that fought ALL crime, not just AFO. The OG people may have been blood related, and the quirk is passed on by DNA, but OFA was never really connected to AFO. He just took a strength/speed enhancing quirk and gave it to his brother. So the quirks aren’t connected.

I reckon the time limit the 2nd user gave Deku was more so becuase the quirk was being used on Deku himself more then anything, since we know for a fact he's moving faster the the speed of sound at minimum, thats got to do some serious damage to the body, damage that might only be healable with rewind.

Right hearing 2nd user quirk, I got bit confused straight up on how can it related with bakugou, but then the panels shows that's quirk help the user moved metal faster than the speed of the sound, that click me where there certain moment the characters in anime/manga do say that bakugou is actually very fast

Now that we know what the 2nd one for all user's quirk is, the gauntlets he used were probably used as more like the barrel of a gun for accuracy more then anything so he would shoot out small objects such as nails and rocks
The sound is always delayed though, since light travels faster. Assuming they are 113 meters away it would already take a third of a second to reach the observer. At 340 meters it would be a full second.
That's not Tenko we saw in AFO world held by AFO, it's SHIGARAKI TOMURA with his short white hair (Tenko is smaller and has black hair), it's Shigaraki's same look from the previous war, probably our first look at Shigaraki since S&S fight inside AFO world

So basically the Second Users quirk is like New Order in a sense but to only be limited to touch/speed and Adjustments.
Either way this quirk added with the other quirks make Deku the strongest Hero. Thus he’s stronger than almighty in his prime days 💪🏾.
My Guy haven’t even mastered everything yet he got way more to go and grow.

My prediction... Deku might overload and slip up parallel processing his quirks, releasing smokescreen. Causing monama and eraser head to lose sight...and boom shiggy(afo) heals up and gets stamina back to turn the tables... Im basing this off one of the panels showing smoke leaking out of deku's fist without him noticing
When you said ‘parallel” I immediately thought that the force and power of this fight would cause parallel realities to open.
With his punches sound being delayed that means at impact the punch would be least 761 mph.

It's actually pretty much hypersonic considering the range in which mirio is compared to Deku. It's more akin to a thunderclap than a supersonic jet (the former obviously being much faster)
Izuku could even be slowed down too. Transmission is supposed to manipulate speed, so he could slow AFO with each gear.
So about that 120 percent thing. So what I am guessing is the combination of regular 100 percent(the one the increases his strength and speed)plus the max use of his quirks. But I still have a few questions, like how long can he hold this for, can his quirks stop working or be overused, and can he just tap into the form?
Quick reminder that Deku doesn't actually use 100%, he uses a fake one with Fa-Jin because it's basically "the same thing" and doesn't hurt his body, so in a way, Deku still has 55% of OFA left to master, which means if he truly went 100%, not only would he have a 55% bonus from Fa-Jin, but transmission would give him another 20%, which means if Deku goes truly berserk against Shigaraki/All for One, he'll be basically using 175% of his power, and that's completely absurd

@@jellymatsuryuka6853 well actually fa jin just doubles the out put, black whip added 10% to make 100. So it'd be 220%
@@tuckergrimes4189 that'd actually be the same thing but less 10% for Fa-Jin and added 10% for Black Whip, so the outcome doesn't change at all
@@jellymatsuryuka6853 no it does because fa jin doubles 45% to 90%. Which means at 100% it would be 200% with just fa jin. Which means it would actually be 230% with switching gears and blackwhip

I love that Deku went from pathetically weak then trained himself to be able to receive one for all. Then he had to fight and train every step of the way to master one for all and each of the quirks.
This going be even more mind blowing in anime form.
Deku is literally the perfect candidate for OFA. His knowledge and battle iq… hell his iq in general make him a very VERY dangerous hero against the villains.

I think the seconds Quirk could be compared to Luffys abitlity in one piece. With Gears that Deku has to go through all with different names and increased speeds. Dekus default gear is unkown becuase he’s always in that gear until he starts moving up gears. But he names the Gears as he Progresses through them both being able to use it on himself and anyone he touches/punches. Just like a car it’s bad and damaging to skip gears which is why I think the Second user also had Gears he had to progress through when he had the Quirk becuase he warns Deku about it’s Improper use (Aka skipping gears) and just like a car engine it could be damaging which is why he has to progress through them. It’s also cool to see Deku getting another ability similar to he’s classmates with this quirk being Touch activated like Ochacos lmao not that he basically has her quick already with Float but it’s cool to see that Deku can still apply what he’s learnt from he’s classmates.
