It is worth mentioning that his enigmatic paintings were also considered as objects for meditation and even believed to have therapeutic properties. Indeed, if you spend some time looking at his paintings, it gives you a feeling of calmness and clears the mind of negative thoughts.
Wonderfully well done - I'm really enjoying this new format. Hopefully I'll get a chance to visit the museum this April when I'm in the city for the Book Fair. Thanks for this!
Thank you for this video! I visited NYC last week with my kids and, inspired by this video, I took them (8 and 10) to the Nicholas Roerich museum, and it was a truly stunning experience. My kids especially liked Star of the Hero with the purple geodes in front. I sat looking at Mother of the World and other paintings for a long time. I am so grateful for you highlighting this museum and artist, we need more awe and wonder in the world.
Wow! What an epic mystical esoteric art journey of an episode! So thrilled I caught it! Shambhala/Shangri-la. And Roerich! And in NY! Thank you for sharing with us on newly named The Art Tourist!!! 🎉 🎨🏔 🌌!!!
Another beautifully crafted video. Thank you so much for the time and care you put into these productions. I now have a new spot to visit when I finally take a trip to NY!
Que forma de ser creativo para hacer un vídeo de analisis de un artista.Pocos recursos, pero genialmente distribuidos para hacer de este analisis un viaje.
Your videos are so good! You guys are gonna blow up one day for sure. Would you guys please be able to do a video on Henry Darger? I think you guys may find it interesting!
We decided to retire Several Circles! We really enjoy making art/travel videos like this so we basically rebranded. There's a post on our Community page with a bit more info about what prompted our decision and our new vision for The Art Tourist: www.youtube.com/@TheArtTourist/community
Your videos in art Museums are a pleasure. Others who take a camera into museums are unwatchable, the camera work is unprofessional and it zooms around, usually showing bits n pieces, parts of any given painting. There is usually maybe one SECOND that viewer can see a whole entire painting. Literally makes me dizzy, nasesous. Disappointed, I can not watch. No thought is given to recreating experience of viewing art in a museum. Your work is thoughtful and well informed. Thanks
