she is one amazing dancer! Such is life for all those who think either she's stone faced or can't dance but has great technique, as you can imagine I would tend to disagree. Take a look of that comments regan8r makes, sounds like no one has her ability??? Where is her video?
@nakedbanana69 I agree....there's a lack of emotion in this performance. I can't really understand the pain. Technically, the dancing is amazing and so is the choreo...I just wish I could have been feeling for her more. I guess that's the life of competition dancing though.
@rhodesdarcy It's moments at, say 0:46-1:00. Very expressive choreography, but there's nothing in the face. at "I don't even cry unless I open my eyes" the choreography is "simple" and she just blows through it, obviously more concerned about the tough combo ahead. When she brings her hands to her face there's just no emotion behind it, or when she kicks towards the end of the combo there's nothing in her face. As I said, amazing choreography, amazing dancing, subpar expression.
It's not just the face. She's not feeling the movements she's just doing them. She has amazing technique. But dancing is action reaction . And there is no reaction. Therefor not dancing.
I think she did great, awesome even. But the only thing is that her port de bras drove me nuts at some points. Like when she brings her arms to fifth during her turns, her preparations for her turns, and that arabesque near the end. -.-

This girl is an amazing dancer. I just wish she wouldn't be so stonefaced. i totally would have believed that she felt the words the song spoke is she hadn't been wearing a blank expression most of the time. I definitely think shes better than a whole lot of dancers I've seen though.

I agree with Regan8r technique is great but she can't dance. She's just doing the movements. But she's not feeling them.
