Bruh, I just started EU4 and this time I’m getting into it and I played until game end and let me tell you if there was ever a reason to cough up some cash for a DLC it would be automatic sieges. Jesus Christ I would be paused for minutes at a time controlling 30+ armies only to hit play for less than a minute as the sieges were blitzed through. I wanted to rip my hair out, and then even in such a dominant position I would lose some battles because I would miss an engagement because I was fighting Arabia and some armies were in Tunis and some armies were in Madagascar fighting their ally Kilwa. It’s just too much late game I felt like I needed 3 co-ops like I was Germany in Hoi4. Honestly the biggest reason why I didn’t form Rome by the end date was that I dreaded war.
Religious peace allows christians of any denomination to become elector and emperor, but it doesn't make thr HRE Hussite. If you've forced converted enough nations (over 20 is good) to hussitism before the religious war, side with the protestants. If they win and there's plenty of hussite princes, there'll be an imperial incident asking princes to vote whether to remain a protestant, give religious freedom or become hussite. My only problem was not knowing who would become elector after the war. The event does trigger almost immediately so it gives you a year to maybe ally and sway the (protestant) electors towards your goal. I've only tried it once, but in my run all the electors all voted to remain protestant, while the majority of hre princes voted for hussitism, so the emperor selects religious freedom. I'll have to try again to get that achievement!
Im pretty sure the best way to get hussite hre is to just not convert the hussite provinces and rush erbkaisertum, since it forces westphalian peace if it is proclaimed before religous leagues
I swear the hussite protest incident already existed when you recorded this? It should have been pretty easy to guarantee. If at least half of the empire is hussite (by province count) when the protestants win the league war, then the incident will happen, and you can literally guarantee that the emperor will choose to make hussite the official faith as long as he is either an OPM, or currently losing a war to you with at least 50% warscore.
You could just have switched to Protestant Join the League become the Leader since you are too strong win the war but take the white peace option then let husseite rebels spawn and switch back to Husseite
