I not only learnt a lot about Bohras, but also their contribution to Buddhism, temples, and how Islam supports women's rights and empowerment. Dr Careem, hats off to your commitment to shed a positive light on all communities and to promote religious tolerance in SL, and as a Sinhalese, I feel proud of you my brother. Your services have to be recognised by the Government.

Dr Zameer Careem, as always you amaze me with your knowledge. I have developed a genuine interest in Islam and Bohras, after watching your three episodes. Excellent presentation, and love your fluency and command over the language. Bohras, are an interesting yet important community. Thanks again.

Dr TUAN ZAMEER CAREEM, Pride of the Malay community, who shows love and respect for all communities, and promotes the real idea of women's status in Islam. Bohras, have since their arrival, been one of the most generous, educated and prosperous communities in Sri Lanka. We Malays love the Bohra brothers and sisters

    Moors are originally from Spain!!

The word moor was coined by the Portuguese to refer to Muslims in Sri Lanka as the Muslims in Spain were also called moor but there is no similarity of the two ethnicities....
