@@dade97asd96 oh that was PAIN when it happened lol. Those small extra dramatic monsters like Chatacabra or Rajang could get pretty darn annoying for HH users because of that. A bit more range could possibly save us in moments like that

@@KPlaysHere Honestly if they have it be utility like this where individual players are allowed to make builds that fit their playstyle. Ranging from healing, dps, or utility/CC support. And they leave the dps at mid range, I would be so happy.

holy crap, all this new HH info is so freaking good man, so excited for the new echo waves along with, well, basically everything. those bubbles definitely seem bigger and it makes so much sense that horn maestro could affect these moves. also with how much utility HH has now, running double HH might be the way to go 👀

Hoping the movement speed is increased a bit because having to rely on bubbles for mobility doesn’t feel too great. The movement speed increase barely felt like anything in the open beta imo.
@@zolo4600 yeah the noticeable slowdown in the beta wasn't it. HH having high movement speed is a long time trait of using the weapon, having it dialed back is odd. I feel like I saw a slight speed change in this footage too, but I think I'd wanna try the new build 1st before I decide for sure
@crimsoncrown2326 I think the problem was that we had the speed bubbles. Those brought us up to a little over the old normal speed, so if you were constantly playing in the bubbles you might not have noticed the difference
My only thought regarding this is that Horn Maestro maybe boosts our Self Improvement melody as well as its usual effects? I agree it felt pretty slow, so I’m hoping Horn Maestro makes us move faster as well

Either they actually meant the public demos or we're in for another rebalance 🤷🏾♂️ Melodies Extended is usually on purple note Horns only, so we may have to wait till HR to see that in action But yeah! I really love how this HH is coming together. It's making me look back at 5th gen and think "oh, that whole generation was just them throwing ideas into a melting pot so 6th gen can bring us the best version of it" and I'm so happy. It's helping me to view Risebreak HH more favourably as well, which is nice. But one thing, unrelated... 2:30 is that a vine floor? I've only seen 2 monster leaks so idk what's known, and I don't want to find out until Capcom reveals it... but could this mean my namesake is returning??? (I am huffing copium in hazardous doses)
@@tammywacha it HAD to be, because you can take like any weapon and look back to see the vision lol. HH specifically had some... interesting growing pains in 5th gen, but the final product is looking NICE. And it could...there are some monsters I'd love to see make the jump to 6th gen and take full advantage of the monster AI/interactive environments, and that's DEFINITELY 1 of them!
With Vaal Hazak and Kushala Daora being unlikely returners, i really hope they bring back the super recovery skill in some way shape or form. It was so fun in world to max out recovery with horns and become unkillable. And with a potential regen echo bubble, i could see this strat being nuts. Please capcom!!
Healing HH has been a meme for so long, up until Rise honestly (but Rise HH had its own issues). Wilds making built-in HH healing strong enough to take over for item healing would be great! Get rid of the Wide Range full support meme in multiplayer, and make HH users themselves tanky AF
@KPlaysHere The best part about the world regen strat was that you could just set it and forget it, to get the massive tank benefit of constant heals while queueing up echo waves. Never been a fan of the straight up heal s/l songs, but the recovery up is just so spice with the val hazaak / daora set bonus

seeing the horn crafting tree *right there* but having no footage of most of the icons being hovered over is so painful XD. i wanna see those new horn designs and what instruments they might be based on so bad!
If bone has some perks and metal has another, it would be interesting if we got customizable weapons, where we have a weapon tree, but could pick a base of either bone or metal for all weapons. Like for Hammer, bone would have slugger and metal would have part breaker or something and LS would have critical eye and attack boost or something like that for all weapons. Maybe these are just starting buffs and they're changeable later through the modifying tab in the tree. That would just be superior to both static weapon buffs AND choosing a base type.

It's possible if they're just casually tossing vaulting dance back on IG. Directional Encores do clash with the way Encores work now a bit though, so even if the animations did come back they may still have to be changed a bit
im so glad that you have to play the songs again i hated rise hh so much and ive played hh and gl most out of every weapon since MHFU, ive always felt that hh is underrated damage wise
If we got something close to the play speed of Rise but still had to do note combos and recitals to activate songs, I'd be happy...is what I used to say before Wilds gave us pretty much exactly that!

I think most things besides the normal songs actually on the song lists are interchangeable (as in they can show in different combos, but how cool would it be if we could manually customize them???) so you could see a bunch of different variations of song list+bubble+wave+performance
Ranged hunting horn? ...... gives me an idea. So imagine dual blades that work similar to hunting horn except instead of being up on the monster you stand a short distance away and throw your dual blades like boomerangs. They would have holes in them to whistle when thrown to play notes with a smaller note list than regular hunting horn.
That was always a thing, it's just not very obvious that you can do it unless you're paying attention to the button prompts or you look at the weapon control guide
one last i hope is a change to performance beat and encore. as we can't que songs during a recital anyway remap performance beat to light swing aka circle or b to allow an encore at any song as in worldborne my guess is the healing special performance is gonna be on a horn with naturally powerful stats think of how the lightbreak timbre in iceborne was a valid option despite no attack up such as stronger base stats or particular unique songs, waves/bubbles. it in theory could also double as a weaker aoe stagger move akin to how bubble dance does a bit of dmg upon placing it
It's here! Wish at least 1 or 2 more people played for a look at a few more Horns but it seems like it's mostly other weapons again. Glad someone did a HH run though!
if it doesn't have a spider tree it goes to the para tree like gs and gunlance do, where they look like hope weapons but darker colored. i think i saw the chicken get para'd with the hope horn so im assuming it's the para tree version sadly
@petercottantail7850 nah, that's still the basic Hope Horn. I thought that's what happened too, but it actually just got knocked back into a shock trap. I'd hope that a recolor HH wouldn't also have all the same songs/sound abilities
3:20 Datamine Spoilers ahead Did someone find the rest of the song lists? Last I saw, a couple of them were still missing. I would love to see if there's anything interesting, like where sharpness regen is, in the ones I've not seen
@@Druid-T it looks like everything's been found, but there are still empty slots on a few lists. I'm guessing they weren't finished at the time of the beta build because the devs might've still been deciding on where to put new songs
@@KPlaysHere That's probably the case, because it does look like they've taken the opportunity to re-balance some lists as well, like Red/Light Blue getting a good song to loop, instead of just playing scoutfly/the weather res songs for recital damage, for exapmle
If they all end up on the same Horn, maybe! Arguably even better than weapons with an actual shield lol, since we wouldn't even have to bother stopping for a proper blocking animation. And imagine if we got health augments too...
Did they update it so you can see the songs and the controls at the same time? In the Beta I couldn't see the commands because I wanted to see the songs.

I love the direction they're going but I want multidirectional multihit performance beats and encores back. I miss those big meaty backwards swings from world. Yeah you can do any direction with your first performance beat but I could only go forwards and side to side with subsequent performance beats and even though encore is thrown out really fast I wish we could choose those longer multihit directional encores from world by inputting a direction. If we could do that it would be the perfect horn.
Damn, in each weapon updates reveal my main weapon consideration for Wilds keep changing. 15 seconds Sonic Barrier and piercing nuke for special performance? Bruh.

Yes, you should procrastinate and Capcom should never play test because that's how nargacuga happened lmao. I'm curious about SA and lance. Lance in Wilds was, as I've been told and guessed, in the beta was the slowest version of the weapon. Not just post 5th gen, some old school players said that too. SA was really fun in the beta, I loved how it flowed but knew its damage was bad and over-reliant on the new full release slash... Like to the point of spam this move as much as possible or do less damage than lance because that's how SA didn't lose. I like full release, as an animation and another use of amped state. It's nice to have ZSD be more of a defensive option, still with good damage, and have full relase as the high commitment/high damage move. It makes you consider what the best use of your amped state is for the situation. All they need to do, in my mind, is buff SA, in general but buff the other moves around full release more so it's not as universally demanded for dps. Them telling people not to play lance or SA, because they are still working on them, is encouraging. What is even better to see, is that IG was shown with the bounce/vaulting dance combo returning. It's better to have more play styles on weapons. I said, during the beta, that I'd be fine with the new grounded play style if they did 2 things. Those are; add the bounce again, so we have more than 1 play style, and fix the focus mode/kinsect controls. They already granted one of these wishes. I'd be curious to know if the press at these events experienced changes to the controls. I know, it's less exciting to talk controls for a game but, in cases like this, controls can make or break a play style or game. I heavily disagree with Tokada's take, justifying why they removed the aerial combo in the first place. It's kind of a double standard, other weapons didn't have aspects removed to highlight the new ones but IG did. It was totally unfair. Disagreement asside, I respect the fact that they set their pride aside and gave us what we wanted in the end. That far outweighs my initial frustration. Hmm muck/deep water/snow negate? So all those effects on movement are back. Let's just hope all 3 have tough monsters so none of these effects are wasted. Environment damage, well a food skill already confirmed hot and cold environments. What in Gog's name did scoutfly power up do again? Yeah, if maestro gives u bubble range and reduced bubble cool down that would be awesome. The vespoid horn in World had 1 niche, anti diablos. That's kind of it.

Completely uninterested in this as long as Capcom doesn't issue a press release about its runtime performance characteristics improvements (optimization). If most folks can't run this forsaken game, then all of this generated hype is utterly useless and a waste of everybody's freaking time.
I'm optimistic that if they're going in tweaking movesets to address player complaints, performance is definitely something they're aware of and working on

Strong disagree. It was the only weapon who lost a large chunk of what made it fun to a lot of people. That’s like removing helm splitter or counters for long sword. Yeah there was an iteration without aerial or counters but with so many world and rise babies, it’s not fair or fun to those people. Fun >> Optimal damage.
@JJGateway01 It's not about damage. Spamming the aerial attack is braindead and boring. There is more depth to staying mostly grounded and not spamming that attack. Could be optimal for all I care. It's silly.

Glad I wasn't the only who noticed how slow we felt. Self improvement barely did much, hope they speed it up a bit.

Fire and blast are kind of a blurred line when it comes to monsters so the early bast horn may be the Quematrice horn. I cannot wait for this game.

If bone has some perks and metal has another, it would be interesting if we got customizable weapons, where we have a weapon tree, but could pick a base of either bone or metal for all weapons. Like for Hammer, bone would have slugger and metal would have part breaker or something and LS would have critical eye and attack boost or something like that for all weapons.
Maybe these are just starting buffs and they're changeable later through the modifying tab in the tree. That would just be superior to both static weapon buffs AND choosing a base type.
So sonic smash horn and super heal horn are gonna be my go to. Thank you

Whilst I know it's probably a pipe dream, I do hope that they add an option to use all directional rehersals so that those who want to can back perform, back encore...
It's possible if they're just casually tossing vaulting dance back on IG. Directional Encores do clash with the way Encores work now a bit though, so even if the animations did come back they may still have to be changed a bit
im so glad that you have to play the songs again i hated rise hh so much and ive played hh and gl most out of every weapon since MHFU, ive always felt that hh is underrated damage wise
If we got something close to the play speed of Rise but still had to do note combos and recitals to activate songs, I'd be happy...is what I used to say before Wilds gave us pretty much exactly that!

I think most things besides the normal songs actually on the song lists are interchangeable (as in they can show in different combos, but how cool would it be if we could manually customize them???) so you could see a bunch of different variations of song list+bubble+wave+performance

Ranged hunting horn? ...... gives me an idea. So imagine dual blades that work similar to hunting horn except instead of being up on the monster you stand a short distance away and throw your dual blades like boomerangs. They would have holes in them to whistle when thrown to play notes with a smaller note list than regular hunting horn.

That was always a thing, it's just not very obvious that you can do it unless you're paying attention to the button prompts or you look at the weapon control guide
one last i hope is a change to performance beat and encore. as we can't que songs during a recital anyway remap performance beat to light swing aka circle or b to allow an encore at any song as in worldborne
my guess is the healing special performance is gonna be on a horn with naturally powerful stats
think of how the lightbreak timbre in iceborne was a valid option despite no attack up
such as stronger base stats or particular unique songs, waves/bubbles.
it in theory could also double as a weaker aoe stagger move akin to how bubble dance does a bit of dmg upon placing it

if it doesn't have a spider tree it goes to the para tree like gs and gunlance do, where they look like hope weapons but darker colored.
i think i saw the chicken get para'd with the hope horn so im assuming it's the para tree version sadly
@petercottantail7850 nah, that's still the basic Hope Horn. I thought that's what happened too, but it actually just got knocked back into a shock trap. I'd hope that a recolor HH wouldn't also have all the same songs/sound abilities

@@Druid-T it looks like everything's been found, but there are still empty slots on a few lists. I'm guessing they weren't finished at the time of the beta build because the devs might've still been deciding on where to put new songs
@@KPlaysHere That's probably the case, because it does look like they've taken the opportunity to re-balance some lists as well, like Red/Light Blue getting a good song to loop, instead of just playing scoutfly/the weather res songs for recital damage, for exapmle

Did they update it so you can see the songs and the controls at the same time? In the Beta I couldn't see the commands because I wanted to see the songs.
@@JeannieLove I think there were a few different settings for HH control/song list display in the UI menu. At least 3 different options from what I remember, but I forget exactly what each does

I love the direction they're going but I want multidirectional multihit performance beats and encores back. I miss those big meaty backwards swings from world.
Yeah you can do any direction with your first performance beat but I could only go forwards and side to side with subsequent performance beats and even though encore is thrown out really fast I wish we could choose those longer multihit directional encores from world by inputting a direction. If we could do that it would be the perfect horn.

I'm curious about SA and lance. Lance in Wilds was, as I've been told and guessed, in the beta was the slowest version of the weapon. Not just post 5th gen, some old school players said that too. SA was really fun in the beta, I loved how it flowed but knew its damage was bad and over-reliant on the new full release slash... Like to the point of spam this move as much as possible or do less damage than lance because that's how SA didn't lose.
I like full release, as an animation and another use of amped state. It's nice to have ZSD be more of a defensive option, still with good damage, and have full relase as the high commitment/high damage move. It makes you consider what the best use of your amped state is for the situation. All they need to do, in my mind, is buff SA, in general but buff the other moves around full release more so it's not as universally demanded for dps.
Them telling people not to play lance or SA, because they are still working on them, is encouraging. What is even better to see, is that IG was shown with the bounce/vaulting dance combo returning. It's better to have more play styles on weapons. I said, during the beta, that I'd be fine with the new grounded play style if they did 2 things. Those are; add the bounce again, so we have more than 1 play style, and fix the focus mode/kinsect controls. They already granted one of these wishes. I'd be curious to know if the press at these events experienced changes to the controls. I know, it's less exciting to talk controls for a game but, in cases like this, controls can make or break a play style or game. I heavily disagree with Tokada's take, justifying why they removed the aerial combo in the first place. It's kind of a double standard, other weapons didn't have aspects removed to highlight the new ones but IG did. It was totally unfair. Disagreement asside, I respect the fact that they set their pride aside and gave us what we wanted in the end. That far outweighs my initial frustration.
Hmm muck/deep water/snow negate? So all those effects on movement are back. Let's just hope all 3 have tough monsters so none of these effects are wasted. Environment damage, well a food skill already confirmed hot and cold environments. What in Gog's name did scoutfly power up do again?

Completely uninterested in this as long as Capcom doesn't issue a press release about its runtime performance characteristics improvements (optimization). If most folks can't run this forsaken game, then all of this generated hype is utterly useless and a waste of everybody's freaking time.
I'm optimistic that if they're going in tweaking movesets to address player complaints, performance is definitely something they're aware of and working on

Strong disagree. It was the only weapon who lost a large chunk of what made it fun to a lot of people. That’s like removing helm splitter or counters for long sword. Yeah there was an iteration without aerial or counters but with so many world and rise babies, it’s not fair or fun to those people. Fun >> Optimal damage.
@JJGateway01 It's not about damage. Spamming the aerial attack is braindead and boring. There is more depth to staying mostly grounded and not spamming that attack. Could be optimal for all I care. It's silly.

I prefer charge blade. From the gameplay, it seems like they’re going the Rise route and making Aerial do mor damage every bounce so it’s not even as unotpimal World if things stay the same.
