Another "Crappie" Day

Sorry that this video is short. My Go-Pro went on the blink after about 30 minutes. Soon after the wind picked up and I found a school of big girls that I chased around for about three hours. Finished the day with 12 over two pounds with the biggest being a 3 lbs, 2 oz female. Follow me on Instagram (yourbudjerry) to see pics of the biggest ones. My primary baits were a Cut Throat CHIP jig and the biggest fish was caught on a Beaver Bottom Bait jig - Wister Wildcat color.

What is the thing on your rod . Is it a float or just a rod protector
