Lol! Oliver got so stressed out he had to take a pee break!!! My wife and I had to teach our little Yorkie Bichon (Isabella) how to go down the stairs! I was behind her and my wife was in front. We coaxed her down one step at a time and applauded her on each one! She eventually got the courage to do it on her own! Hang in there Oliver... you’ll get it! TOO CUTE!

See my other comment in here about training for stairs. If you can get a friendly neighbor dog to come over and show yours how to use stairs, that can help. It should only take a few days to get the concept across with a Doberman (they're a smart breed). Use lots of treats, don't overwhelm the dog by asking too much (such as too many stairs at once) in your first few attempts. Even a few steps on the stairway should be rewarded, for the first couple of days. Do NOT use a leash to pull the dog down/up the stairs. Train this off-leash, and let the dog find their own courage. You CAN train your dog for it! Don't give up.
