Arabian horses are the best! I was blessed with only one horse in my lifetime and he was an Amazing and wonderful boy whose beauty and intelligence made for not only a wonderful riding horse but also my friend and companion. He has been gone for 18 years and I still have a hole in my heart where my friend used to be. A prince of a horse! A wonderful film. Thank you.

A great informative video about the great Arab horse, a unique horse with majesty, beauty, grace, speed, endurance, loyalty and intelligence(as a result of being very close all time to its owners throughout history). The most exquisite, refined and beautiful of horses! Arabians have such power, grace, elegance plus intelligence to match as well. Their stamina is incredible, and Yamish; (so sorry if I spelled his name wrong) is the colour of starlight as a stallion!

The Arabian horse exsisted in Egypt after the liberation of Egypt from the Roman Empire by muslims Arabs , The original home of the Arabian horse is in the Arabian Peninsula. (Arabia).

Mashallah what nice horses! At the time of prophet Mohammed pbuh the best horses were chosen as follow. The horses were voided of water for 2 days. Than the owner stood approximately 500m away. And 500m on the left was water for the horse to drink. Than the owner called the horses, the horse who went to the owner and voided the water was chosen as best animal.

Small compact and hot blooded endurance horses! I know! loved them as a kid and having the honor to ride one as a mount! I just wish they were not so small! XD

@@Cinematicseg years ago, I read a history of the Arabian breed. I can't remember the author's name. It went into detail as to old desert bred lineage, the Crabitts and Davenports, and the development of both the Egyptian and Polish style Arabs...I learned a lot!:)

@Sidney Hager there are many diffrent strains within the arab breed . the desert strains are best.
The parked stance is commonly seen in American Saddlebreds, TWHs, Hackneys, Morgans and other show horses.

They originated in the Arabian peninsula ergo the "pure" horses today are called Egyptian Arabians, but there are polish Arabians, Spanish Arabians, etc.

Still words you will never hear hey come over and see my great riding horse he is an arab. If our horses were over there in numbers they would soon replace them for a desired riding mount.
LOL which of "our horses" would that be? The Arabian is one of the oldest breeds in the world, and have lines in the foundation stock of almost all modern horse breeds. George Washington loved Arabs and brought Egyptian bloodlines with him to the US.
