You got a sick hall of VHS in this video! I love clamshells also. My collection isn't as big as yours but it's slowly growing. I got 70+ VHS this week in my hall. Only spent 12.30$ for em all. Some are beat up but I don't care, I buy them for nostalgia and for me to watch.
That's a killer deal for 70+ tapes! Be careful man VHS collecting is addicting lol. Totally dude I have the same mindset, I don't care if the box is beat or it's in a disney clam if I like it, I like it!
Man. I wish any thrift stores anywhere in my area 1: had VHS selection beyond a handfull of tapes 2: didnt want to charge anywhere from $1.50-$3.00 per tape, and 3: didn't do shit like attaching series/sequels/etc. together with literal packing tape, that wrecks the sleeves when removed. I 100% EXCLUSIVELY hunt for VHS at the Goodwill and St Vincent DePaul outlet stores, which thankfully i have 2 goodwill, and 1 SVD outlet within 15-20 min of my house. And at least they price em at $0.05/inch at the bins. So i can go and dig 20 VHS tapes out at each store, come home with 60 to add to the collection, and I only spent $3 total (aside from gas, of course) Super cool and helpful seeing as i refuse to order tapes online in any capacity. Im up to 340 so far, and have only been collecting seriously for around a year, and only movies i actually want to watch, have seen, or am intereted in. Started off w my gf wanting to own the disney movies, and of course now im snatching up every piece of nostalgia, horror, anime, and whatever i can find thats more intersting than disney clamshells, and she gets to also look for the remaining 15 or so shes missing from her giant disney list. Win-win 🥰😂
My best finds so far have been a handful of OG Wu Tang shit english-dub king fu movies, John Waters' pink flamingos in a clear clamshell missing the original sleeve, but can't complain on that find in the wild fr, and just recently I found in the same trip, the entire yugioh duelist kingdom arc on like, 16 tapes, and Kill Bill 1 & 2. Vhs movies doesn't stop playing at all like internet does plus a damage blue ray disc movies does everything proven in time everything proven people like myself are buying VCR players cleaning tapes vhs movies everything else offline from images from ebay now days nothing is not hard finding online now days everything else getting more easy finding online now days no more getting out of your house now days

I go to st Vincent.u can't check the tapes if they mold.they put tape between sleeves
