As usual, great video. I have learned so much from you both, and with all this knowledge, I have been able to gain so much more exposure for my cat rescue. Thank you very much and have a beautiful day. 😊
Wow Diana, thank you for this awesome idea, I learned that you can use Imagen and Dall-E directly from Canva, and I'm also amazed at how Text to Image has improved! If it wasn't for this video, I definitely would have been missing on the big potential that Text To Image has, thank you 💯💪
🎨 Text to Image has been my go to since you introduced it to me and now that they've added more styles I notice that it's gotten even better with more reliable results ✨️
Thanks for this great video text to image comparison. I am back with TH-cam and visiting your channel after some family matters happened for the last 3 months. I am surprised that those period, AI and Canva got more features and new apps installed. I am using Canva Pro, I can take advantage of all those new features. Text to image is still a battle of discussion, a share of note, this technology gave way to bringing your imagination to life which gives more opportunity to creativity and strategy.
I like the video however the misty mountain prompt I thought the first one (text to image) was better bc it was capturing the Sunrise, right at the ecliptic point, with the fog infused mountains. I have personally captured a photo similar to that, during the Fall season. Also consider adding more descriptive words to get the look desired. I think less words the more vague AI produced images.
I despise AI and I wish products like Canva would stop pushing it so much. Especially when it comes to images, because they always end up looking so fake. I much more appreciate the creativity and time and effort that somebody takes to take a real photo as opposed to just writing in a text box: give me a picture of an orange cat sitting in front of a table with a cup of coffee on it. It's effortless and lame and quite lazy.
it's interesting to me when some people make statements such as yours against AI. AI has been around for years in some fashion and everyone has been using it, especially if they have Smart phones, Alexa, Siri, iRoomba vacuum cleaners, Google Maps, etc. You are very fortunate that you were blessed with natural born talents. Not everyone is so lucky. People can be lazy with AI, but people can also use AI to work smarter and more efficient. People can use AI for evil, but people can also use AI for good. Technology constantly evolves. You either embrace it and use it to your advantage or you get left behind. AI will never 100% replace humans, nor will it ever 100% replace human talent...unless humans let it do so.
I hear what you are saying and I agree to an extent. AI image content is just filler images for me, stuff I use as background images on docs, etc. In defence of Canva, I have noticed that the text to image feature has got better, they seem a little more realistic but as you say, still fake looking.
We are still very early on this new wave of technology, images are going to get better and better, video is next as well as voice and audio. It’s not going anywhere so best thing we can do is to learn how to use it properly 😊
They all look alike, everyone is getting similar images, so I do agree,a nod they look lifeless and soulless. People are beginning to tell its AI, so unless you take the AI image and add your own touch to it, people don’t want it, as often.
@@MegUSN52 I agree with you that AI has been around for years in some form or fashion and that it is helpful when it does its job. Ask Siri a question, get an answer, all good. Or I have been using a service by ElevenLabs for generative AI text to speech. It does an excellent job narrating speech in a natural voice. However, that is all ElevenLabs is: an AI app. And so I accept this and all is good. What I dont like, and where I should have been more clear in saying that I despise AI, is where apps such as Canva (which is not uniquely an AI app) start pushing nothing but AI. And often, AI that does a poor job such as is the case with text to images (that look so fake). Now, Canva is not the guilty party when it comes to going overboard on pushing AI for image editing. Adobe is doing it also. In fact, every image creation and video editing app is doing so. It's as if they had a big meeting together and agreed to all push AI at the same time. So to be clear, I have nothing against AI when it works and I agree that one has to jump on the bandwagon or get left behind. I just wish Canva and other apps would stop going overboard with it where every single update is AI, AI, AI.

Welcome back!
And yes, so many new AI features made it to Canva recently 😊

I absolutely love the content you guys put out. EXTREMELY helpful. Thank 🙏🏿 you guys so much ☺️
So happy to read your comment dear
As Text to image have 4 options, so it's already winner, but the way you explained is superb!!!🥰👌👏
Thank you so much 😀
waiting 4 Oct ... Canva Some Magic
Yes ✨
great sharing .
You should have compared with mojo AI in Canva too
This was a really helpful video, thank you. AI is now so prevalent that it’s hard to keep up so explainer/comparison videos like this are excellent.
Glad it helped 🙏
Love 🥰 this video and love 😍Canva too. Thanks for sharing this video and information.
Thanks for watching David
Great video! ❤️🇦🇺
Greetings…. Dall-e 3 just dropped for ChatGPT pro users…. Is that available via canva with this app?
Not yet I'm afraid.
Can I use Canva elements to animate my youtube video without worrying about copyright?
Yes, you should be fine!
Thank you so much for this comparison! Did Canva change the name of Text to Image? I can't find it, even when I search for it.
I don’t think so 🤔
@@TeamRonDisame here, I can’t find the text to image anymore since last month I used it
Hi, I want to know in Canva do we have the chatGPT-4 Plug-in? Or chatgpt 3.5?
There’s not ChatGPT plug-in for now, but Canva’s Magic Write tool is probably using GPT 3.5 or even 4.
@@TeamRonDi oh, ok! Thank you! ❤
My Text to image not working for free version telling to pay credit wht to do any similar site
Pls recommend too
Maybe you've run out of credits?
@@TeamRonDi
Then wht should I do
I don't want paid pro version
I want to use text to image in free version
@@adarshpanchal9813the credits renew monthly. If you need more before the next month, you would need to pay for more credits.
So why no comparison to midjourney?
Because I was comparing what’s available in Canva 😊
can you use your own photo? and if so how?
No, you can't upload your own photo and ask the App to generate a new one from the model. That would be really cool though 🤞
I wonder if Mid Journey creates those images from personal photos
i think mojo ai beats them all
