@DuskZer0 I don't have any good advice about painting. I tryed to paint my armor and waS not happy with the shine, so I had her professional painted. You can find great advice about painting phasmas on the captain phasma Facebook page!
No not to bad the armor plus helmet weight maybe 10 -12 pounds, the cape is the heavy part is close to 3- 4 pounds of fabric! That's what feels heavy after wearing for 3,4 hours.
This looks incredible !!! 😱 If you don't mind me asking, how do all these armor parts stay on you ? Are all of them secured by clips, do some have velcro to keep them on the undersuit ? I'm just getting into armor making and this is by far my biggest problem, I don't have a clue how to keep them in place 😅
The thigh armor is attached by snaps with elastic to my suspended bet harness I made. The forearm and biceps are velcroed in to my rubber gaskets! The hard armor pieces that are attached to other armor pieces have industrial strength velcro! Snaps with elastic or velcro are my to means of attachment! Nothing is attached to my undersuit besides my cape! Hope this helps!
@@adventuresofastormtrooper well first is if you want to make a suit for Phasma as a What If Episode 9 thing. The idea I had for Phasma, is that her chromium armor would be torn, rent, and spiked similarly to the new vehicle she rides atop, a modified Corisuant Police Bike. Her traditional helmet is gone and much of her face is horribly disfigured with healed-over burns. She now has a new mask with tubes connected to a air pack on her back, her suit also now serves a similar purpose to Vader’s suit by keeping her alive while her body heals. She also has some new cybernetics, especially with a lost hand that can now turn into different forms such as a hand blaster. This actually ties into the second question but let me know what you think about this one first.
@@disneyboy3030 I usually only deal with screen accurate Canon costume so I can use them for charity events with the 501st! Your idea is very cool tho!
love captaain phasma!!!!
OMG; how often do you have to polish this beautiful armor? It looks amazing.
Never its a special paint, and try not to touch the paint or as little as possible! I only use a soft cotton cloth for finger prints!
Just Crome the whole thing
That’s the easiest then your karate kid moves wax on and off and it should simmer like silver
imagine going on a stealth mission with that thing on... shiny
Who did you use to chrome that? It looks AWESOME! Congratulations!
A friend in our Garrison offered to paint her! His a professional car painter!
Hey man, did you have to paint the hem yourself or did it come pre painted
The helmet came unpainted! I had it painted at the same time as the armor!
@@adventuresofastormtrooper I see! If I was to purchase a helmet, do you have any advice on what paint to use and how to paint it?

@@adventuresofastormtrooper oh okay, thanks :(
Where did you get the undersuit with thumb holes?
I ordered my suit one size big and then cut thumb holes in the cuff of the undersuit! It helps me keep the suit under my gloves.
@@adventuresofastormtrooper how were you able to cut the holes on the cuffs?
Just used a pair of regular scissors and cut a slit in the cuff.
Is it heavy ?

I can't put my arms down!
First Order armor is very restrictive in that way its the cut of the biceps armor.
Capitán phasma I have a new opinion on my map
Bonjour Merci pour ce partage de votre vidéo. C'est aussi compliqué et long que le costume de Dark Vador.
Thank you for watching and for your comment! Always appreciated to be compared to such an iconic costume as Vader!
